I'm looking to go next April or May, Staying at either Paris or Bellagio with a direct flight for a week. What's the best site to do this in one go? Obviously the cheapest too.

Have you had a look at the first page?

Thanks everyone Re: Cosmo deal. Will ask what "qualifying games" are when we get there, but I think it was anything except for progressives. And do you have to lose the $100 in one day.

I think I must be missing something re this Cosmo deal?

So, you purposely lose $100 and you get given $100 back, right? So, what have you gained? Surely you've just wasted time losing $100. What's the point? Is it just for players card points? Please enlighten me.

If you enjoy gambling, you effectively get $200 to play for $100 investment...since they give you $100 freeplay if you lose $100. It's actually a remarkably good deal I think, but again, you have to enjoy gambling for it to make much sense. For us, it was a no-brainer and we came out a bit up...had fun playing too...to us it's not wasting time. :)

I gambled $100 over several hours, had many drinks at $1 tip. Went back the next day, played the free $100 over several hours again with many drinks and won about $80. Total cost around $20 gambling and $20 at the most for 5 to 6 hours of drinks!

A mate and myself are looking to go out to Vegas late July or early August 2012, looking at flights currently they seem a lot more expensive than the ones in the next few months, is there a sweetspot for when it would be a good time to book? Thanks

Does anyone know the drill if we Brits should win big in Vegas? What's the tax and customs situation? Is it best to rush out and open a US bank account? Transfer funds?

It would be good to know, just in case.

Anyone got any experence of this?

I'm considering a similar time myself. I'm watching out for flight sales. Virgin tend to have a few times a year. I'm going in 3 weeks time and got my flight or £401. Before the sale they were >£700.

If you win on the tables then just take your chips to the cashier and pocket the money. If you win big on machines I think you have to sign a form to get all of your money without paying the tax. But I am sure ferf will come along soon to enlighten us.
The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.

Dangerous to be carrying a substantial amount of cash through customs though, surely?
