OctoberHi guys
Going to Vegas on 05th October, while we are out there we fancy an evening flight over the strip in a helicopter, can anyone recommend any particular companies.
We havent got mega bucks, and for around $70 - $80 we get around 11 or 13 minutes actually in the air, is that standard or can anyone recommend summat a bit longer for not much more?
Id appreciate any responses! Cheers...0 -

Yeah he's at MGM GGA October 15-22. They will be having street parties from 11am on 15th and 22nd at the casino (well in the alley between Flamingo and O'Sheas). Going for a Guinness World record for the largest Margarita too!!!! :j
Did a walk thru of casino today...very tropical0 -
Did you do all those things on your trip to the canyon? They look stunning.
With that in mind, we went a bit around the houses and did the north side of the canyon, round to page, then to south GC - here's the route we did:
http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?saddr=Las+Vegas,+NV+89109,+USA&daddr=Cliffrose+Lodge+%26+Gardens,+Zion+Park+Boulevard,+Springdale,+UT,+United+States+to:Page,+AZ,+USA+to:Grand+Canyon+National+Park,+Grand+Canyon,+Arizona+86023,+United+States+to:Las+Vegas,+NV+89109,+USA&hl=en&sll=36.128561,-115.17113&sspn=0.075842,0.114326&geocode=FTFHJwIdxqAi-Sn9uwzYQsTIgDG8jlz-MLhOyw%3BFYmVNwIdleJD-SFU0Vmw5RgtAA%3BFSJGMwIdp1Fb-SmPdc39WxM0hzE5TjhTUS-Ybg%3BFfX8JQIdaBZR-SE7YzTC5Mlivg%3BFTFHJwIdxqAi-Sn9uwzYQsTIgDG8jlz-MLhOyw&vpsrc=0&mra=ls&t=m&z=7
So we went from:
Vegas --> Zion (under 3 hours drive), went around the National Park - (didn't do much walking to be honest) but had a good poke around and stayed the night, then the next day did...
Zion --> Page (under 3 hours drive), stopped at Lake Powell for a mooch, then on to Chief Tsosie Antelope Slot Canyon tour, then went to Horseshoe Bend just outside of Page. We then drove...
Page --> Grand Canyon Village South (under 3 hours drive IIRC), stopped at points on the way in and stayed the night followed by finally...
Grand Canyon Village South --> Vegas (under 5 hours drive), dull and un-interesting only real thing of interest that was saw was stopping @ Hoover Dam on the way back0 -
November / December50 days today! I'm so ridiciously excited. I've started writing a list of everything I want to buy, and have done a table of the outlet malls I want to go to and what shops they have in them, and whether they have a book of coupons for extra savings!0

Maythe road direct to the GC is a bit long and dull to be honest (though suggestions welcome if anyone has found anything interesting along the way!)

You must have read my mind!! Thankyou that was exactly what I wanted to know :-)0 -

The fact is there are a lot of incidents  .......but most of them are not in tourists areas so are not as widely reported.
I only put that on here because it is a tourist area.0
