Octoberhi all. long time no see
for those who are looking at vegas next year, it is much cheaper to fly to LAX. we're looking at march, and we've found flghts £456 direct as opposed to the cheapest flight of £570 both with virgin.
we're going to take the opportunity to goto cali/around la then drive to vegas. quite excited now as i really couldn't afford £570! woooo. The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.0 -
JuneThe Mastercard ATM finder is pants!
Where are the best ATM's on the strip in which I can use my FairFX $ card? Don't want to get any nasty surprises re withdrawal fees!! (FairFX charge $2 per withdrawal)
As been said, Casino Royale indeed...
MAx daily withdraw limit is $1000
So u do $500 (counts as $503)
then do $490 (counts as $493, or total of $996)
I went 3 times!!
happy days!0 -
But you can afford the cost of car hire and all of the fuel to get to Vegas and back to LA which would cost more than the £228 you are saving on flights (assuming there are 2 of you and you would not have hired a car in Vegas anyway)
Ah - see my carhire3000 tip posted a few days ago.....hire car for one day for say £20, add the premium package option including a full tank of fuel for say another fiver a day, drive to Vegas, turn car in. Do same on way back.illegitimi non carborundum0 -
Virgin and BA have a monopoly on direct flights to LAS. Needs someone else to shake up the market IMHO.....is Freddie Laker still around or is he pushing up daisies? All the US airlines like flying to their hubs (Philly, Chicago, NY, Charlotte, Detroit etc) so theyre unlikely to be interested. BMI unlikely to be around for much longer.....such a pity Maxjet folded.illegitimi non carborundum0

Stelios just announced FastJet, but no detail where he will be flying. I understand that the £300K per year he gets from EasyJet means he cannot do Europe. Stelios Laker? :j
It would be so great someone like that stirring the market!Won
