... Tho possibly worth pointing out that you can't book / reserve the patio at Mon Ami. You have to turn up and wait.
I will get around to doing a mini TR I promise, but we got messed around by Absinthe and so turned up there at around 8 and it was a 90minute wait. Chewed my arm off! Ended up going cosmo and paying around the same prices to eat at 'the Henry'. Same prices as Mon Ami but seemed a lot more relaxed and more spacious, tho obviously no view.
For good steak, I'll also throw in a suggestion of Switch @ Encore.... Great food and an interesting environment to eat in. Youtube it
The food was overpriced for others in Vegas and it was so mixed in with the casino it didn't feel special
Mix view was breathtaking and I appreciated the food more
Mon ami gabi was the best by far though0 -

Pebbles, I found it to be one of those machines that if you don't hit the feature then it will gobble up your money. I played it again yesterday at the Aria, played until I had 3 features, the stay puft one only paid $7.
The machines that had people queuing was Batman dark night. Couldn't even get close enough to see what was happening.
The machines we have had most fun on are the spinning strike machines John Wayne and the Monkees, hit a win line they respin the reels and keep doing so until it doesn't add any more wins.
First time I have stayed centre strip, I don't think I'll do so again, last night was mental with all the frat brats off their heads. The bar between Harrahs and the IP seems to be the main cause, saw 2 guys laid out on the floor so drunk and people just walking by, their 'mates' just poking and laughing at them.
Just having steak brekkie in IHOP, still trying to think of what next.0 -
November / DecemberThanks Spursman. I might try to see what the Batman is all about too.
I hear you on the centre strip thing. If we do stay on strip, we try to do so Sun - Thu to avoid the douchebaggery of the weekend crowds.
Enjoy the rest of your trip.0
