Absinthe's last show (unless it is extended - not sure how likely that is this close to the end of the run) is 17th September, I think...would love to see it but we're out of luck unless it's extended. :(

    :(
We are lucky ,we arrive in Vegas Tues 13th, think we are deffo going to see this and the price is reasonable too.
    What date do you arrive?

We loved Absinthe. We really hope It's extended.

Apparently we witnessed the second malfunctioning of Angel's prop. I'll say no more in case I spoil it for someone.

I have an android phone and am looking for the cheapest way to get data when in Las Vegas. 200MB over 12 days should be ample

Tried searching but unless data costs in the USA are stupid my searching skils have deserted me!

Does your phone have wi-fi, or does it just get data via GPRS ?
The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.

If your phone is unlocked take a trip to Mr Sim Card dot com- it's who I use for every trip to the USA. He stocks a range of different simcard options.

I have a t-mobile pay as you go sim, and I can get unlimited data for $1.50 a day. I had to go to the shop on Flamingo to get them to set it up for me, but after that it was easy. Once the 24 hours are up, you have to reload the bundle, so it only charges you for the days you use. I have an unlocked HTC Desire. There is a T-mobile app too, so you can keep track of your credit.

    Hope that helps.

I wonder if they check when your birthday actually is too...if you could engineer your birthday to fall during a trip. :) It will almost never happen that we're in Vegas on my birthday late December.

Exactly my thinking, Ferf:D We fly on 26 December but have put my birthday as 23 December - fingers crossed!

Best Ice Cream....Cold Stone Creamery @ Excalibur. My new favourite :-) cannot wait to return here
Used to go there all the time when we stayed down that end of the strip, fabulous place, just can't justify getting the car out and the trek. I know what you mean - we were staying just off Strip down that end first then at the Mandarin Oriental so it wasn't too much of a trek TBH, so glad I went but now have to shut up about it!:)

Keep reading about "ends of the Strip" and people finding it a pain to go from one end to the other. Going to Vegas for the first time in December and just wondering how long is the Strip? I'm imagining a couple of miles..........:o
