Re Riviera free buffet

We were in Vegas in July and signed up to the players club at the Riviera to get the free buffet. It was very nice for free! Similar in size and choice to the buffet at Flamingo and the servers were friendly. Definately worth it if you are down that end of the strip. We combined it with a visit to Circus Circus as I'd never been to it before.

Ah, I was just going to ask you that - so the coupon will be valid for 2 weeks from signing up it looks like? Will have to remember to register in a few weeks time when it gets closer to our trip.

I was just coming to say the same - so will have hubby sign up just before we go too.

Thinking about it - I have another email address I could sign up with....I wonder if they check when your birthday actually is too...if you could engineer your birthday to fall during a trip. It will almost never happen that we're in Vegas on my birthday late December.

Booked! Thanks for the reminder, Luci...even hubby couldn't find a reasonable argument against it at $27.50. And I thought general admission would mean seats assigned upon arrival - but we seem to have seat numbers on our confirmation.

Glad you're booked ferf. We almost went to Divas a couple of trips ago, but the tickets were almost $50 IIRC and I didn't think that type of show was worth that. Would certainly give it a punt at $27.50 though.

The other one in that price range is the Australian Bee Gees which was a great show if you like the Bee Gees music.

Gutted, wish I'd known as it was my birthday when we were out there and that could have meant DOUBLE ice cream!!! :rotfl:

We had a great time with Scoot City. I'm glad we opted for the Sunday morning slot as you drive on the streets before you get to Red Rock Canyon and it was dead at that time. It probably won't apply when you are there, but we made sure we were wrapped up with hoodies and jeans and it paid off in early May at that time of day. It was so cold that a guy in our group had to pay over the odds for a sweatshirt at Red Rock as he only had on shorts and a T-shirt.

Hubby struggled a bit with the controls to start with as it is like a motorbike rather than a car, but was fine after he got used to them.

Ummm, not so sure about driving one of these things on a busy main road :eek: I am sure it is safe.....but think we will booking a morning slot like you did. How far in advance would you recommend booking this?
