    USA Today paper...

Clark county commisioners approved the land use and design for Caesars entertainment's project linq. Plans call for restarants, dining and entertainment that runs between the Imperial Palace and Flamingo casinos.

Interesting...looked around and this was one of the renderings from awhile ago.

So goodbye O'Shea's...where will I watch beer pong now?

After what happened yesterday (which I dont really understand at all) I'm considering buying dollars now just incase they go down, as they have from last night when I checked. I was going to buy 300 pound worth now which at the moment is 480 dollars, and then buy 400 at the end of the month when I get paid again. I think I should post this somewhere else but I'm not sure, and I know you all usually give the best answers. Is the ICE website the best to order these on? and is it safe? If so, can someone give me the website for this so I know I'm definitely using the right one.

I'd like to ask if it's a good idea to buy now but I think I will be told that we do not have a crystal ball and can't tell!
Who knows is my honest answer.
The downgrading of USA 's credit status MAY mean the £ going up against the $ however the US stock markets in America went up on friday when everywhere else in the world they were falling.

    Here endeth the economics lesson.

Averaging the amount in the way you describe may not be a bad idea but unless you are dealing in many thousands of dollars the actual difference will be modest.
    Have a good holiday!

Thanks :) Someone told me to wait until next week and then buy them, but didn't say why for some reason. I think I'll buy them on Monday at the post office as I'm a bit iffy about buying things like that online with such a high amount of money. A few dollars shouldn't make too much a difference to me but my sister is planning her christmas present (I know its far away) with money I'm being given for her right down to the last dollar!

Monday is a bad day to buy currency - the price will have been fixed as at close of business friday - not taking into account what happened yesterday. Personally I would leave it until tuesday.
However if I am wrong - tough you are on your own :rotfl:

Not sure if this will interest anyone but Monte Carlo have deals currently running. They are on twitter and facebook.

I wanted to book hotel32 but it was out of my price range. One of the 6 deals running and I have cancelled my spa suite booking and booked hotel32 for $85 dollars more including the resort fees. Happy to swap the jacuzzi for limo transfer, free soft drinks, light breakfast and the other 'perks'

I am not going to tell DH about the change, cannot wait until he realises we have a limo pick up.

Thanks to everyone who has contributed to this thread, I have been an avid follow since we decided to book our 2nd trip to vegas. I am so better prepared this time. First time DH has ever got involved in planning a holiday. He decided he wanted to say in 3 hotels so we are doing 2 nights hotel32, 2 night the venetian and 3 nights in planet hollywood.

Roll on wednesday then its only one week to go :j
