friends dithering about. :embarasse
i'll keep an eye open around christmas. thanks. otherwise it'll be 2013!
One thing to try is the miles plus money option as long as you have used Virgin before?
2000 miles knocks about £150 off a return flight.
I booked my flights for £539 without realising I could use this option :mad:0 -

If you have a facebook account and an Mlife card, you can get 5000 tier credits by following this link. There wasn't an option for UK or GBR in the location box, but it didn't seem to matter. It accepted my info no problem.
Saw this last night and have just got round to doing it. Nudges us a little bit nearer to Platinum. Should hit that next as we're just over halfway through gold0 -
SeptemberIve also entered my number, The t&c's say only open to usa, canada, mexico and austrailia so we will have to wait and see if the points are credited.0

How strange, I just tried this with my MGM Mirage Players Club card as I don't have the M life one yet and I still received the points. I'll have to remember to check it out when over there next.DFW Nerd 267. DEBT FREE 11.06.08

It does count, You used t9o be able to sign up for virgin miles and then add a flight that you had already taken, not sure if that is still the case but worth a look.
M+M doesnt always take £150 off but there is usually a saving to be had, but you dont then earn any more miles on that fare0 -
