Twice. Each time I said I would never do it again. Somewhere I have pictures of the bruises on my back from it...it really throws you around and both times I ended up with a terrible head/neckache. ME To but I think the track or cars were changed recently for a smoother ride

Some think it's great. I'm obviously just too delicate.

Don't forget to look around for coupons (incuding this one, no idea if there are better deals around now).

Virgin Atlantic have been demoted to a 3 star airline. Now in the same exalted company as Easyjet  linky
The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.

Interesting site and article stoneman, thanks. Can't argue with that really - there was a time a few years back when we would choose to pay a premium to fly Virgin over most other airlines, now I would probably only pick them if they were amongst the cheapest.

This is completely off topic, but reading that one of the things they got marked down on was the quality of economy class food reminded me of something my dad emailed to me a while ago - it's got to be one of the funniest articles I've ever read so thought I would share in case anyone has never seen it:

I really just wish they would make it so you have to buy drinks on the Vegas routes - and stock enough of them. I like a drink when i want a drink...not to be told uum we have red wine 2 hours in

We are only flying with them in 2 weeks because the tickets are free (well as good as) and we are in Premium economy. I would never pay the £1,600 per passenger they wanted for those seats, and wouldn't fly economy with them even if they were the cheapest, unless they were by a considerable margin
