Stops static shocks!!! I think its a Stoneman tip from memory.

So are static shocks a problem in Vegas? Wow, I never knew that! You just keep them in your suitcase and its supposed to help when you put the clothes on?

Ill get some for in my case but will look out for static guard when I get there.

    Thanks all x

some find putting a dryer sheet in their pocket while they are walking around helps.

The shocks get my hubby worse than me...I think some on here have found the same trick as him - if you sit down at a machine - whack it with your hand quickly...that gets the shock out of the way. :)
Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?

Not sure we want to go around smelling of that stuff on a night out all dressed up.
BTW ever noticed how the static is worse in Walmart than almost anywhere else. I once asked a shelf stacker about it and she said that's why they all wear rubber gloves.

:rotfl: you don't have to douse yourself in the stuff just a quick spray on clothes, shoes helps stops the static build up. Generally made worse walking through the casinos on the carpeting/shoes build up the static. A quick spray on hands can help to.

If you really don't like the smell just use your favorite cologne/perfume afterwards.

Low humidity causes static, and the Vegas humidity is very low a lot of the time.

    Is there any?

I cant say I have noticed any and I first took my son when he was 4. Vegas is marketed as an adult playground so I would be surprised to find much if any childcare

    You may not get shocks.

As I said it affects me very bad, but my wife hardly gets zapped at all.

Do you get any static shocks in the UK ie from lift buttons..I do

yes we did,it was a godsend
caesars put us in touch with a nannying agency called nannies and houskeepers usa.
    the address is 3585 e flamingo road,ste 204
    las vegas
    nv 89121
we used a nannie called ana who was a teacher for her day job,she was lovely, she came to our room every night with activites and snacks for dd,we were actually quite upset to say goodbye to her when we left she was so nice!
we were shown all the paperwork prior to anas arrival and other than her comming to our room it was just like using a kids club,as in all the relevent checks are done.
I was very happy with this company
