If anyone is planning on going doing any drinking in Bills, from the 1st of july they no longer accept uk driving licenses as a form of ID.

We went in almost every night and despite the same bartender serving us all week with our DL, he wouldnt accept it at the weekend.

It seems Bills is the only place in vegas that has this policy, we had no problems at all anywhere else

Superdry is more expensive in the US, we looked at some of the tops, but they worked out to be around £1 to £2 more than what they cost back here (comparing to the huge store in Cardiff)......

Correct Stuie, all UK based clothing is more expensive or not much different at all in the US :( See Ted Baker as a prime example over there also, but definitely hit the Outlets as you suggested :)

I'm quite excited now, flying out tomorrow with $600 in one hand and my Clarity Card in the other :D

Meeting up with some girls I met last year from Chicago for a few days while I'm there also so should be guaranteed good times

Does anyone know if they sell Superdry in America anywhere? Just wondering if this is a british thing only or if they sell it over there.

If you like Superdry check out their store on Ebay. They sell slight seconds but a lot of the stuff is perfect. Have bought several hoodies, t-shirts and checked shirts. Their returns policy is great too, never had any problem getting a refund/exchange. Watch the sizes tho' they come up really small I'm a 12 top and had to exchange shirts for XL!

I know it's been mentioned that the Tax and Gratuity can bump it up but TravelZoo have a 4 Course Dinner at Little Budda and VIP tickets to bars/clubs for $99. Link here

Just booked 4 nights at planet Hollywood next March, soooooooooooo exited. Didn't plan on booking so soon, but, the Virgin sale convinced me. It's my stag with my 6 closest mates.
Never been before so will trawl the site before going!

Excellent - I'm staying at PH in Aug/Sept for 4.5 nights!
How well did you make out on the Virgin flights? I'm heading over to search fares now...

Would suggest that you plan your trip well, you need to have an idea what you want to do in Vegas or you can get overawed!

Forget Superdry, take yourself to the premuim outlets! I bought 4 Ralph Lauren tops, got extra discount, paid in total $198 for the 4. Compared same tops in House of Fraser, £110 each, Heeeelllloooo!!!!!! Rip off britain!
So yeah, hit the premuim outlet places at both ends of the strip, happy days! :):)

Agree 100%. We went to the one near the airport and I got a pair of Timberland boots for £34. There about £90ish here.
Levis were $19.99 a pair, but I also dropped on a pair of Lee jeans for a tenner at that shop on the end that does all the Lee, Wrangler jeans etc cheap.
I love Sketchers and myself and DH got a pair each while they were buy 1 get 1 half price.
Had to buy another suitcase in the end lol.

Booked through lastminute approx £600 per head which I was well pleased with. Virgin direct flights, BA came out less by a minimal amount but flights
times of Virgin are much better both there and back.

I have been a few times on or around the 20th march. It has varied but it is usually fine for laying round the pool during the day.
