Does anyone know if they sell Superdry in America anywhere? Just wondering if this is a british thing only or if they sell it over there.

I agree with Stoneman to a certain extent, I wouldn't want to eat at buffets all the time, but we'll do a dinner and a breakfast buffet during our stay, and the Wicked Spoon dinner was fantastic. Most definitely not mass produced slop ;-)

See now we didn't like Wicked Spoon, thought the idea of individual little pots was twee. There was a lack of Italian and Indian food, and the desert island was probably the worst pudding station we have encountered (except for Terribles). But then it was lunch and only cost $24 each!

There's a good Grand Canyon deal on Travelzoo US site...approx £63 each full day coach trip to South Rim and looks like offer runs to end of year through "Best of Vegas"
I've done the drive myself though and it's a long long day !!

yes stoneman quite the point in the 90's and earl naughtees buffets were a heck of a lot cheaper than eating in and hence were definately a good option
however as the price of buffets have increased compared to the price of eating out im not sure if they are as good value for money as they used to be

I don't know...I think that in general the quality of buffet food has improved as price has increased...buffets are a lot different way back when...personally, I prefer the wider variety now.
We are going to Wicked Spoon in September to see where we land on this hot topic. We like PH. Overall we would also normally choose a sit-down restaurant...but sometimes we like the variety a buffet offers - little of this, little of that...and the fact that if you time things well, you can be eating before a sit-down waitress would have taken your order..sometimes quick is just what we ae after. Still, if you said we had to choose either buffets or sit-down restaurants - no mixing things up...we'd go sit-down without question...but we do like buffets sometimes - they do serve a purpose for us.

We like a buffet for breakfast most days. By the time you choose one option of something to eat, say omelette or corned beef hash, and order coffee and OJ it can work out more expensive than having the choice of a huge variety of things. I couldn't eat a whole portion of one thing anyway.

I can't eat much at breakfast time and usually just have a bit of smoked salmon, some cream of wheat and sometimes a pancake. If we do have a table service breakfast it's usually steak and eggs.

I don't really like a buffet for dinner so we only occasionally have one.

i don't think they do lunch now, they've combined it with breakfast into a brunch and then do dinner from 5pm.

there was some pasta on offer, didn't see any indian but then haven't seen indian anywhere on offer i don't think. though i'm sure this will change as we've noticed a lot of indian families on this trip.

the dessert station was our favourite bit, we thought it was amazing! hot crumble/cobblers, warm brownies in hot caramel sauce, diy strawberry shortcake, gelato stand, huge choc/nut dipped strawberries, and lots of petit fours type deserts: choc torte, strawberry cheesecake with strawberry meringue, lemon tart, choc cones, creme brulee, mousses, fudge, fruit... nom nom nom

Main thing I dislike about buffets is seeing people shoveling food down barely chewing it, they can't be enjoying it. Had a really lovely porterhouse steak in Morels at the Palazzo last night, really top class and fairly reasonable price.

Superdry is more expensive in the US, we looked at some of the tops, but they worked out to be around £1 to £2 more than what they cost back here (comparing to the huge store in Cardiff)......
Forget Superdry, take yourself to the premuim outlets! I bought 4 Ralph Lauren tops, got extra discount, paid in total $198 for the 4. Compared same tops in House of Fraser, £110 each, Heeeelllloooo!!!!!! Rip off britain!
So yeah, hit the premuim outlet places at both ends of the strip, happy days!
