We enjoyed both the MGM (which we went to several times) and the Paris buffets when we were there last year (April 2010) - I thought that the MGM had the best pudding choices and we went to the Paris for Sunday Brunch and after a week in vegas and nearly 3 weeks in the US I remember enjoying having an almost normal roast dinner type of meal
We also went to ones at the Excalibur (we didn't enjoy - felt more like a canteen than any of the others we did and I didn't rate the food), Spice Market (was fine but very busy and we had to queue for ages) and the Rio (OH enjoyed this one, I can't remember what I thought at the time! They have a nice ice cream station I think).
The problem I have with buffets is my eyes are bigger than my stomach and I end up going way over the top and then feeling uncomfortably full for the rest of the day. I have to agree with Stoneman - I much prefer a proper sit down meal that's made to order and served to you at your table0 -

Of course, Froggitt! Didn't even think to mention it - feels like way of life. I probably go to the Quidco website more than I Google :rotfl:
Just double checked and apparently it is "2% for sales when a voucher is used"
I guess anyone using the codes will need to do the maths to make sure they are making the max savings possible!Married in Vegas - 25th October 2011!

SeptemberHey all
just joined LVA after weeks of putting it off (financial reasons! lol) and have found a massive collection of past editions of the magazine, wish I could read them all hehe.
One question, The package I chose came to $40.50 and I "think" it said online and mail? (allow something like 4 - 10 days) what does this mean? I'm sure I found a page yesterday where it would let me print coupons, but today it keeps getting me to join again (even after logging in). I am particularly interested in the member rewards book that should save us quite a bit of cash (quoted as $200+) typically.
Anyone help me?
TIA

Hi Spike
It looks like you have selected a US membership option. TBH I found the menbership levels really confusing and ended up emailing them to confirm which was correct before I joined.
LVA Online Membership - International / Mail 2011 MRB
$43.00
The above is online access to everything but you will recieve the MRB by post.
I am sure if you email them they'll let you pay the $2.50 difference by paypalMarried in Vegas - 25th October 2011!

AugustWe think the Spice Market is garbage compared to a lot of buffets and that is based on several recent visits. We kept going back thinking they were having a bad day. Both the food and the service were disappointing on our last visit.
Good buffets, based mainly on breakfast, are Bellagio, Wynn, Mirage and MGM. Someone on here didn't like the MGM and we felt the same a few years ago, but the past couple of years it has been spot on whenever we've tried it.
The Aria was very good when it opened last year, but not so good this year. Cosmopolitan was OK, but not as great as I had read it was.
I too don't rate PH buffet - been twice, once each trip. Both times we had the same server, who was rude to us, but really nice to everyone near us...she looked enraged when i ordered a coke top up - and snapped "you have to pay extra for that you know.." when my hubby ordered a beer.....we only went the 2nd time as we where drunk and hungry and had bought the buffet of buffet pass as we where staying at Flamingo - never again. The food is ok - nothing amazing.
I didnt mind the Flamingo for breaky or CP for lunch. I've also done the Wynn Champagne brunch which was lovely. I dont really mind any of them tbh...
Our next trip in Aug we are there for 9 days - will only do Cosmo buffet to try it, and perhaps one other. Buffet of Buffets was a big mistake for us last year - we only did it one day and didnt aim to eat to much, but did....we didnt touch another buffet the rest of the hol!0 -
