back in my room, last few hours of Vegas :o(

Been a great day, the buzz around here is amazing tonight. MGM Grand was mobbed, loads of people in for this weekend's events. So much going on, gutted we're leaving and missing out.

Had a great night on roulette tonight, playing on some good tables with lively people making it a fun time, and even better leaving the tables in profit.

Went to the UFC 132 weigh in earlier which was great but just made me wanna go to the main even even more.

Bumped in Leben and Silva this evening, that fight is gonna be carnage tomorrow, 2 blokes who look like absolute nutters. Shared and elevator with Leben, who was off to his room at 9pm, seemed tense, nervous and edgy but we shared a brief chat. Silva on the other hand was still in the casino at midnight posing for photos and signing autographs.

Had 18 great days in Vegas, dont wanna come home but reality awaits and cant stay here forever.

@WestHamDaz were you out on the strip on friday evening... seemed REALLY quiet?! even the cab driver said he expected the roads to be bumper to bumper by 4pm... and at 7pm you could cross the road without having to look

we didnt venture out of the MGM last night. ate at wolfgang puck then had a session in the casino til 3am. it seemed really busy in the casino but when chatting to one of the dealers he reckoned it was quiet. with so much going on this weekend Vegas should be heaving, caught a report on tv stating vegas should be about 92% occupancy this weekend.

just about to check out now. got 1 last stripburger voucher to use up then spend our last few hours on the strip before flying back tonight. Luckily got the front row in WT+ so should be able to stretch out and get some kip.

With some good days in the casino, and having 9 out of 17 nights comped it means Ive spent on average just a little over $100 a day, and going home with a bit of cash, which means only 1 thing.....

I CAN GO BACK AGAIN SOON (hopefully)!!!!

McMullans near the Orleans, (get the shuttle from Bills) is fantastic best food I've ever had in Vegas, going to go for Sunday dinner tomorrow $14 each, all the roast meats, roast spuds, brussels, yorkshire puds. Steak pie and shepherds(sirloin beef) are the best ever.

Register at the cosmo club and they give you $10 free play which is easy to convery to real money.

Tried to use some upgrade vouchers for Prem. Economy along with using miles for reward flights with VS today as they run out in July. Gave the guy a 3 month spread any time March, April or May with at least 7 days between outbound and return. Nothing. Ended up booking for this August, as they were the only date he could find for us that weren't in the winter. So we are now going August and October making it 4 trips this year. Had a look at the prices and Premium from MAN on the days we are going would have been £1,500 EACH. So the £300 taxes we are paying is kinda small in comparison. We have had to lose the flights we had booked to Tenerife in July because it would have been too much time off.
The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.
