Hi all
For those that got married in Vegas, what do you do after you've done the ceremony ? I have the pink paper u get from the marriage license place, i got my certificate signed and so on, but i'm under the impression i gotta pay some more money and take my marriage cert back to the license'ing place and get a 'certified copy' of the license???
Or somthing like that ?
This may be no help at all as we got married in California rather than Nevada, but after the wedding we had to take our forms to a local council type office to get a certified copy of our marriage certificate - is that what you mean? If so, I think this might be what you're after:

We were advised by the guy who organised all our wedding stuff to get a couple of copies of the certificate just in case, as it can be a little tricky to get a duplicate once your back in the UK should it get lost.
Hope that helps. Oh, and I take it as you have your signed certificate that you actually got married today? If so, congrats!!0 -

There's a list of buffets that are most often recommended on page 1. Spice Market at PH used to be there but several people have found it's gone downhill...we still like it though.
Off strip we also like Orleans, Main Street Station (you can get a 2-for-1 voucher - updated quarterly since most of us can remember http://www.vegasexperience.com/coupons/ - any email address, password: realvegas) and Silverton. The American Casino GUide and Las Vegas Advisor Member Reward Book are good sources of coupons for a lot of buffets, though both have a cost associated with them.
As for casual dining - it's pretty much all we do in Vegas...the options are almost never-ending....but prices can vary quite dramatically so depends what you want.
Ellis Island BBQ (and some love the steak special, we weren't fans) is probably our favorite budget casual dining (we always have a 2-for-1 from one of the coupon books)...
we find ourselves at the cafe at Paris most trips...
we had our first Earl of Sandwich (PH) experience last trip and loved it...
we almost always make a stop at PF Changs...ditto Grand Lux Cafe (though it's been years since we've been to their sister restaurant Cheesecake Factory and we need to do something about that).
The Pizza Place at Wynn we like (the garlic parmesean fries are awesome - though I still miss the chili dog they had when they were Sugar and Ice)...
we love Peppermill but agree with others that it's not necessarily the best value place - the portions are huge but too big for most people...but the place itself has so much Vegassy character - everyone should go once at least...
Stripburger (preferrably with a coveted restaurant.com voucher)...
we loved Bellagio Cafe but at $70 for breakfast for the 2 of us (yes, we had lattes and large orange juices which accounted for nearly $30 of it) it wasn't cheap...
Mon Ami Gabi on the patio is brilliant - dinner especially with the view of the fountains, but breakfast and lunch were excellent foodwise and nice to be outside...
Lotus of Siam is a Thai place off-strip we haven't been to in years (have agreed that next trip we will go again) but it's regularly regarded as one of the best Thai restaurants in the US...
we had a lovely lunch at Mr Lucky's at Hard Rock with Pebbles and her OH - $7.77 steak special - loved it.
The only casual dining experience we wouldn't recommend is the Sidewalk Cafe at Ballys...compared to Paris in terms of price and quality there's no point of Sidewalk existing we think...most of the 24-hour cafes we've tried have been perfectly OK - though again not always the best value if you consider all the deals out there for other places.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -

We thoroughly enjoyed the Orleans buffet and it was cheap as chips0 -

last time we only tried the Aria breakfast buffet (twice), can't compare it to others but it was awesome! we did the regular breakfast, and the champagne brunch at the weekend... an incredible variety of food, plentiful and fresh.

Hey Stuie,
We got wed last october in vegas, dont worry about getting certified copies while your there, just use the online link in above post when you get home, its really easy and ours arrived really quickly and cost about $25 for 2 if i remember correctly!!
Congrats by the way!!!0 -

We got married in Vegas a few years ago now, but we didn't need to do anything else. We had a copy sent to us in the U.K., but I would take the advice of those that married more recently.
Some will tell you that you are supposed to go to your local Births, Deaths, and Marriages register back in the U.K. to get your marriage registered here, but we never did anything, and i am sure we are still married. The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.0
