We recently had to return a car to the airport mid holiday and found it no problem. $20 to get us back to the strip in a taxi.

I think so - I think it's the drop off time that's causing the issue, though haven't tested the theory.

Ok back from my eleven days here's a bit of a round up that I hope people will find interesting

    Hotels

Tropicana - This was a bargain price and couldn't complain, was also very easy from airport after picking up the car

El Cortez Cabana suites (junior suite) - really impressed here, suite was really nice design shower was lovely and powerful, because its smaller the staff soon got to know us and all very friendly, and they claim to pay out more and I certainly believe it we are not big gamblers but did very well particular on the Star Wars machine!

Cosmopolitan (One bed terrace) wow wow wow, what can I say the room was amazing having a terrace to sit out on was certainly an experience in Vegas! But is a very big hotel and after el cortez felt a little impersonal!

    Buffets

Ate at the Mirage and Orleans for dinners with LVA 241's both great as ever really like Orleans and recommend it to everyone.
With did champagne brunch on the Sat and Sun at Freemont and Main street Station worked out at $12 with Freemont st vouchrs for both of us amazing value and loved the setting in Main Street really amazing room.
Tried to go to wicked spoon at 1415 for lunch on day we left are usual pre flight routine, but closes at 1400 so bear that in mine ended up at Paris which did the trick.

    Resturants

With a very generous voucher from Leigh-anne 60 we headed off to Hash house ago go at M resort enjoyed the drive out there and really enjoyed the meal luckly they let us take desert home as could bearly finish the main!!! Really enjoyed walking around M nice and relaxed atmosphere.
Triple George Grill and El Segundo, stripburger all visited with restaurant.com and will be picking up more vouchers very nice all three!

Stumbled across Chart House in Golden Nugget well they dragged us in as we where wandering looking for food idea, was very nice meal in a lovely setting and the warm chocolate lava cake was to die for.

    Shows.

Matsuri - got the cheap tickets from Travel zoo so wasn't expecting much but was very got really impressive acrobatics.

Absinthe - I enjoyed this would not be everyone's taste, humor seemed rather un-american and a few people walked out but the circus performing was breath taking the roller skaters so close to the crowd was really impressive. In fact all the action was very close and seemed to lack the usual heath and safety! The intimate setting as per the design of the tent really added to the exprience.

Yes, agree...somehow forgot the Station buffets...all are very good we think - at least those we've been to...probably RR was our favorite.

And thinking about it - Original Pancake House at GVR is good too. :)

have heard such good things about this show and annoyed that it seems to be coming to an end mid-September, just before we go.
