Not all the Go rooms have a fridge. Seems to be the ones with view do but it may just be it's hit and miss and we just happened to get the fridge when in the view rooms and not when we had no view. I didn't bother asking but I'd imagine if you get a room without one you could get one sent up.I Would Rather Climb A Mountain Than Crawl Into A Hole

Polo Towers always looked quite spooky to me, but i'm sure people on here have said it's alright? (feel free to correct me):

Seems good considering it includes weekends.$49 -- Las Vegas Hotel on The Strip incl. Weekends
Hit the jackpot with a $49 special any night of the week -- including weekends -- on the Las Vegas Strip. Weekends at Vegas hotels carry a huge premium; nightly rates are often double or triple midweek prices.
This deal slashes 75% off regular rates for a studio at the Villas at Polo Towers. Travel July 22 - Aug. 26 with a two-night minimum stay.
The hotel has free valet parking and two outdoor pools, one of which is rooftop. It is across the street from the recently opened CityCenter, a massive shopping, dining and entertainment complex.
One-bedroom suites, which have full kitchens and sleep as many as four people, are available for an extra $20 per night. Each studio and suite has a balcony overlooking The Strip or the mountains.
Book by June 14. Top 20 deal – sells out quickly0 -

i don't know if they worked or not, but I wear flight socks. never had any problems before, but thought it can't hurt!
next time, I'm taking my own headphones for the IFE... i think i'm right in saying the VA headphones you're given/loaned are a regular 3.5mm jack. but they're the cheap, overhead foamy ones... my own little in-ear buds will be much better
buy a couple of bottles of water airside before you board, to stick in your bag... you'll get fed and watered obviously, but you're bound to fancy a drink at a time when it's hard to get served/get your own!
take your own back-up entertainment... I'm sure VA systems work most of the time, but have a read a few times that the IFE system packed up for a while... so an mp3 player/dvd player, etc. might be a thought?0 -

Machines is all good stuff, As an old geezer I've suffered with various bits of me swelling up, notably feet, I don't dress up for when I'm on board as I also usually manage to spill stuff. Whilst not quite a scruff I tend to wear clothes that I can bin once I change into the clean Tshirt I have in my hand baggage.
Footwear, sort of sandally things that can be still put on and done up when your feet are 3 sizes bigger than when you got on.
I tend to just hunker down and endure the flight as a neccessary evil, always have my itouch and one of those extra battery things, so I can just plug in and tune out for the duration.
I also make sure I eat a decent meal before boarding so if the food is gash then I'm not chewing the armrests, also if I just want to sleep through I'm ok.
When I board I always put my watch to the local time at the destination, it helps me anyway.
I've no tips on jetlag as I've flown a lot of long haul and whatever I've tried I still fall flat on my face as soon as I walk indoors.
My last trip was about the best I've been, stayed up til 11pm when I got back as I had work early the next morning, went straight to sleep and was banging my head on the wall being wide awake at 3am and by 10am was delusional at my desk.0 -

Also our biggest tip, take your own pillow. We always do it and use a silk pillowcase as it reduces crinkling on your face. If you put it in your carry-on case it also helps to hold in place all those expensive electrical items you might have in there. I have heard that some people swap their old pillows for a nice new ones from Encore, but it is only a rumorThe common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.0 -
