Just called the Mirage and changed my 3 night booking in Aug. Extra cost is just under $35 but does indeed get me 2 buffets per day for the 3 nights, so a good saving as we would have the buffet there or somewhere else on those 3 nights anyway.

Cool! Even though it's only good for breakfast and lunch - it sounds like a deal where the freebies don't push the price up to a point that you could have bought the 'freebies' separately and not been any worse off.
Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?

I changed my reservation too online, room is not only $90 cheaper for the same nights (5 nights) but breakfast included now. Sadly it won't cover my traditional breakfast bloody Mary :A

I couldnt do mine online. the system didnt want to know, I think its because I had booked on a previous deal (my rooms were only $60 a night)

Got to be worth a look but I'm not too optimistic ...

Will be sure to give a call in the morning, that would be a fantastic price

Latest Mayweather comeback has been pencilled in for Sep 17th in Vegas. If you are going around that time, get your rooms booked early!

Why? eg of the best hotels that Ive stated at, Venetian has their entry level suite available either as one bed or two beds. Mirage same.

Or do you mean the best rooms in the best hotels dont have two beds? They would likely have a separate bedroom and a pullout in the living area.
What i meant was the rooms that do have 2 beds are the basic rooms.

Cosmo is a good example, their 2 bed rooms dont have a ballcony (which is the main selling point). Room size is the same as the mirage and quite a bit more expensive.

Im sure pullouts are available in the better rooms at most hotels, but i dont see the point in forking out all that extra money for a suite/better room, only to have to sleep on a pull out bed.

On another note the cosmo does have a few rooms that have a balcony and 2 beds, but they are more expensive than the 1 bedroom suite

The Venetian and Palazzo have Bella suites that have 2 double beds and are identical to their 1 King Bed rooms (a bit bigger actually). :)

That's OK if you want to walk around with a coat on all evening, and scrap frost of your car in the mornings.
The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.
