Missed the AA bit, , Just checked the site and they do offer a 5% discount to everyone, but on checking those prices for my hire in Aug they are more expensive than CH3000 and on clicking the link for an additional driver it says it is available at the counter on pick up.

Do you only get an extra driver if you are a member

Yes the extra driver is only with the AA offer. TRy a couple of dates in June and July. It might be that Hertz prices drop the closer to the date of rental. Normally I'd never check with them as they used to be so much more expensive than Dollar/Carhire3000 and only tried them this time due to the OP mentioning that they got a great deal.

AA ocosts less than a tenner to join for a year if you use a cashback site.

And dont get me started on cruise ships.........they Xray your luggage to root out any booze smuggling. 18.75CL pouches of JP Chenet Cebernet look just like Orangina pouches on the Xray though :)

Yozzer great view, and thanks for posting them. I have been up that high once at Pallazo, we had hoped to get a good view of the sirens of TI, we had a view of them but being so high they were like ants and my ears popped everytime I used the lift

there are definately signs by the lifts at Encore that say you can't bring in your own food and drink - anything purchased off property. I'm sure I've read somewhere that there is some sort of bizarre law about alcohol...but I've never seen anything done about it.
Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?

I stayed on the 22nd floor last month and it was perfect. West Tower so very quiet and directly overlooking the fountains (my photos for reference - http://www.flickr.com/photos/angel_ite/sets/72157626530591801/)

They didn't actually have the room we booked when we arrived - we were put in a city room with a crappy view - but we asked to speak to the manager who offered us $100 food credit as an apology. So it worked out ok for us in the end!

Thanks for the info and the pic link

The Bellagio conservatory looks fantastic as usual

Had anyone seen this plans have been given for a 500 foot ferris wheel to be built, like the London Eye in Vegas, by the Mandalay Bay....interesting location as very near the airport and top end of strip.

We went past that during the ground breaking a couple of weeks ago. Saw Oscar Goodman and the showgirls. It is being built on the land where the ill fated balloon thing was. The motel 6 on the corner is being torn down as well.
PS I hope his wife wins the election, I don't like the look of the other woman, seems kinda creepy.
The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.
