SeptemberI feel the same about my booking at the Cosmo with Netflights, I keep thinking it is a misprice and they will try to change the price etc further down the line
Do you really think they would do that? Bearing in mind the price has been that low for so long. I do think the price is so unbelievably low, but maybe they negotiated a good deal?
I remember last year we booked 4 nights at the Wynn is a Panoramic room, over looking the strip via Atlaschoice and my god it was a steal, something like £350 quid, way way lower than anything I saw at this and since, yet they didn't try and change the price, nor query it, so I wouldnt worry.
When are you going?0 -
AugustWe've booked five nights at the Signature for all the reasons Stoneman mentions above. I've never been to Las Vegas before, but have wanted to for almost twenty years, so I am terribly excited!! Any tips for which tower to request? I can't see us being disappointed with any of them, mind you :beer:0

Hello
Just joined the forum after reading through this thread. What a fantastic source of info & tips - a big help when it came to booking our trip.
Having booked to go to Las Vegas in July, OH has said that they would really like to go and see Phantom of the Opera whilst we are there.
Therefore, can anyone offer any guidance on the following:
1) Buying tickets - Noticed that the show is available via Travelzoo at the moment (& assume that it will be back for July bookings) - Is this a good option or would it be better to try Tix4Tonite(or similar) once in Las Vegas (if they even sell tickets for this show)?
2) Suggestions on seating - Assume that we should aim for Grand circle or orchestra rather than mezzanine and is it preferable to be 'central' to the stage?
All help and suggestions gratefully received.
Thanks
Hawk
i had my tickets free with my room, so if you havent booked a hotel yet look for any offers involving venetian palazzo
the show was amazing, ive seen phantom a number of times and this was by far my fav. they cut out a fair amount and the show flows better as a results
dont pay for better seating its a really small theatre and makes no difference where you sit, there isnot a bad seat in the house, though central is nicer0 -

Tower 1 will have you closer to the MGM, tower 3 will be closer to the middle of the strip, but nothing in it really. You will love it there. Did you book through their site or via vacation rentals? The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.0 -
Hello again
Can anyone help with a question relating to Phantom of the Opera at the Venetian?
Basically, wondering if the tickets would be the best price if bought from either Tix4tonite (if available) or via Travelzoo (or even, direct from the Box Office)?
Any suggestions as to which seats to buy would also be useful.
If anyone can help, that would be great.
Thanks

There asre other things to consider as well as location. Only 2 of the towers have Gyms. The food outlet, Starbucks and bar are all spread out across the towers. Discussing this here, we couldn't care less which tower we were in, they are all excellent and have minor pros/cons0 -
Has anyone used destinology to book hotels before?
Found some great deals that they say include taxes and resort fees but they seem too good to be true0 -

IMHO if you find an offer beforehand that looks good, take it. Otherwise take your chances once you get there. We used Tix4 for Phantom.illegitimi non carborundum0 -

Bizarrely - because I never ever ever use UK travel agents - I got a slightly better price through Thomas Cook (online) than I did booking direct. I know conventional wisdom is to book direct but I know we aren't going to cancel or amend now (I've been looking for months and we are off in seven weeks).
It looks fab and will be great to have our own bedroom (our 2 children will be with us too).
Thanks  to wdyw and Cand too0
