Do you really think they would do that? Bearing in mind the price has been that low for so long. I do think the price is so unbelievably low, but maybe they negotiated a good deal?

I remember last year we booked 4 nights at the Wynn is a Panoramic room, over looking the strip via Atlaschoice and my god it was a steal, something like £350 quid, way way lower than anything I saw at this and since, yet they didn't try and change the price, nor query it, so I wouldnt worry.

    When are you going?

I dont really think they will but it is at the back of my mind

Has anyone used destinology to book hotels before?

Found some great deals that they say include taxes and resort fees but they seem too good to be true

Personally I have never heard of them, But what rates are you getting and for where/when, compared to the more well known discount sites or booking direct

They are offering 6 nights in a bella suite at the palazzo for £650 including tax and resort fees

also 6 nights in the ballagio for £610 including all fees.

Both are over £800 everywhere else

Ive emailed them and they say the price defiantly includes tax and resort fees

Same for the Bellagio dates I checked, and the rate was pretty much the same as booking direct without looking for any discounts...but obviously may vary depending on specific dates.
Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?

Phantom tickets were $60-84 at Tix4Tonight in May and you could buy for that day or the following.

I've stayed in the 3 towers of the SIgnature now and my marginal fav is tower 3 but as the above posters say, it really doesn't matter. Under 10min walk from tower 3 37th floor to foodcourt in MGM or as we did a fair bit. Walk out across the road to Miracle Mile and into PH and you're outside the bellagio fountains.

    Hello again

Can anyone help with a question relating to Phantom of the Opera at the Venetian?

Basically, wondering if the tickets would be the best price if bought from either Tix4tonite (if available) or via Travelzoo (or even, direct from the Box Office)?

Any suggestions as to which seats to buy would also be useful.

If anyone can help, that would be great.

    Thanks

    Hawk

we used Tix4tonight . doubt there are any really bad seats in there .

and The Acoustics are amazing !

    hi

got back at lunch time today so while i'm trying my hardest to stay awake i thought id come on and say a huge thankyou to everybody who answered my boring questions in the lead up to me going and for the op of the 1st couple of posts on this thread - i actually logged on while i was away to check a couple of things on here!:D

we didn't really do any gambling - apart from the $1 machines that are on the bars, i don't think they are really designed to be big payers but we normally printed an $8 odd voucher when we'd got bored and used it to start us off the next time, so all good fun really.

we flew with virgin from gatwick, on the way out we went premier class, nice, couldn't really fault it, comfy seats loads and loads of room (we were upstairs if that makes a difference) loads of drinks, nice food on plates with metal cutlery, ice cream, snacks, good flight. on the way back we were normal economy. OMG what a difference, the seats were falling apart I had to hold my headphone plug in the socket otherwise it wouldn't work, the whole tv system had to be shut down 10 mins into the flight which took 20 mins odd because lots of the tvs wouldn't change channels. the food trays were left with us for nearly an hour. It just didn't feel nice. grotty comes to mind.

we stayed at NYNY, although its not the biggest flashiest of hotels, I do think it was good. I liked that it was less than 5 mins from room to outside. we were talking to other people staying at the mgm who said they took just about half an hour to get out of their hotel. NYNY was clean, friendly, the room (spa suite) was big enough (haven't seen any others to compare though) and I didn't find it to far from everything else. It only has a little pool, but plenty of loungers for sunbathing.

The monorail 24 hour ticket worked out good for us as we needed to to to the stratosphere a couple of times ( I JUMPED FROM THE TOP!!!!!:j:T) and then to the venitian for the blue man show. but its a long hike to the station through the hotels.

couple of tips for smokers, the only ciggarettes out there that i recognised were malbourgh lights:( i didn't buy any at gatwick because i'd read they were $3 a pack in vegas. we saw one petrol station (near the stratosphere) that was $3.65 but in the hotels they were $8.50 - $10.50! so i'd def recommend buying some at the airport to take with you.
AND also when you are coming back, you can check in your luggage, go through passport control, then if you want you can go back out side as many times as you want for a smoke, you just need to go back through the customs control bit again, they were fine, in fact really really friendly.:T

vegas was definatley an experiance, I don't think i'd rush back next year, but i'm open to going back one day.
i am so so shattered, my brain isn't even functioning enough to work out how long i've been awake for now, but i'm trying to drag it out for as long as i can. (got up 6am saturday vegas time flew at 4pm ish didn't sleep the whole flight and its now sunday 8pm uk)
