Just a quick one... going to Vegas for a wedding in April 2011, whats the policy on buggies/pushchairs/strollers and also children in general?

Have been reading that the Wynn does not accept strollers at all, any other places as strict?

Asking on behalf of the bride and groom to-be who have a 2yr old and 6yr old, and another couple who have a 1yr old and 5yr old.

If youre staying at Wynn, they will give you a tag for the stroller so its OK.

Nowhere else does that AFAIK. Kids cant stop or linger in casino areas.....apart from that theyre fine.

i don't think it's a regular occurence Kate0208 - last year was the first year i'd heard of it so presumed it was just a promotion...

hope i'm wrong though and it becomes a regular thing! (as i also need tickets!) :D

As Ferf says, it was around for 2007, as I remember booking tickets whilst I was in India - lol Not sure about 08 and 09 though. I didn't book tickets through that promo those years...:)

Thanks pebbles, I fancied House of Blues at Mandalay Bay and Valentino at Venetian, but both get slated on trip advisor, so I thought I'd ask where people have eaten before with these vouchers, how was the food, and would you go back?

    :)

We are planning on booking our holiday/wedding asap. We like the look of The Luxor, anyone stayed before?

Also we want to get married out there too, just us going, can anyone recommend any wedding chapels.

    Thanks x
I said it before and I will say it again. If you are going to Vegas you must at least once stay in the Luxor. It is what made Vegas famous all those years ago when Sin City started really trying to build itself as a tourist destination. Look at any promo photos of Vegas and there in the middle will be the Luxor. Where else can you ride up an "inclinator" where you travel diagonally up to your floor. Then get out and walk along the corridor and look over the edge to 40 floors below. The reception area is by far the most draw dropping of anywhere in Vegas. It is the largest indoor amphitheatre in the world. So what if the rooms are a bit tired and some say dark, the casino has had a full makeover in the last couple of years and is now one of the freshest looking on the Strip. The pool area although nothing to write home about has plenty of sunbeds and pool space. Make sure you ask for a Pyramid room, that is where the fun is. although the towers are newer you might as well be staying in another location if you don't have a Pyramid room. So what if it's a bit far south, the monorail will take you as far as Excaliber, from there you walk over the footbridge to NYNY, from there onto Monte Carlo, then you will hit City Center, then you are at the Bellagio, it all mingles into one these days.
The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.

    Thanks for the reply.

No one in our "party" are staying at the Wynn, but i had just read that they do not accept strollers or children for that matter, is that not true?

Bride and groom to be (+kids) are staying and getting married at the Bellagio.

No strollers at Wynn unless youre a guest there. Kids are fine. I *think* Bellagio is the same.

    re: kids in casino
there is a fantastic post somewhere on tripadvisor forums about this, unfortuantely i cant find the link!! w(was on my bookmarks but have been clearing up my browser)
try googling it see if you can find it
rule one as far as i remember, and is quite true is that you don't kid yourself into thinking that las vegas is child/infant friendly. it's not. there are going to be things that are going to be difficult
