Not sure that's that great of a deal...assuming it is just a pre-booked shuttle bus.

    http://vegas.taxiwiz.com/

would indicate average cost of a taxi (max 4 passengers, I believe) would be $21 including 15% tip (surface roads, no tunnel)...you would need 3 for 12 people, so $63 each way...$126 return...of course it could be more depending on traffic and whether they add on any surcharge for additional passengers (I'm not sure if there is).

Personally, I would go taxi * 3 rather than shuttle - especially if we're talking return...loads of complaints about shuttles not turning up for the pre-paid return journey from what I've read...not necessarily with this company, and not necessarily with a big booking like this.

other option is phoning your hotel and asking about thier limo service, may be worthwhile with that many
but as previous poster said, 3 taxi's would be easier..simlpy because not all your bags may come out all together at the airport a

The winter promotions are on at the moment through to end of Feb, so there may be Spring ones after that

Summer of Cirque has been on the last 4 summers I think...pretty sure the offer came out in July 2007, May 2008 based on when info was posted at Open Vegas...not sure on 2009 and just found May 2010 via google search...those were when the promo was announced, not sure if May dates were included, can't remember if tickets were available from June or earlier?

Keep an eye on smartervegas.com and travelzoo.com's show sections in addition to the promos on the Cirque website penny posted.
Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?

super - thanks for that ferf / penny, i hadn't realised - i should pay more attention as could've ticked the Cirque shows off much earlier!!

I'm back in summer... building it into a trip incorporating:

    - San Francisco (4 nights)
    - Yosemite (2 nights)
    - Death Valley (2 nights)
    - Las Vegas (5 nights)
    - Zion Park (1 night)
    - Grand Canyon - South (1 night) (hoping to inc. Antelope Canyon en route)
    - Las Vegas (4 nights)

So plenty going on to keep me amused (and driving!) - think i'm pushing it a bit with Zion / Grand Canyon and not giving us much time to explore, but if nothing else, it'll hopefully be enough to suss out whether its worth going back. Been putting off Zion for years and heard its better then GC South so will be good to see - both are cheaper than staying on the strip too as they're a Friday / Saturday night job.

This is Antelope Canyon by the way (they only do organised tours of it) - it's on the way to the Grand Canyon South Rim if you approach it clockwise via. Zion

Overall I enjoyed Zion more - I think because a lot of the time you're at the bottom of Zion (yes, I know you can hike down in the GC but we didn't)...somehow being at the bottom looking up made it seem more real than being at the top looking down where it all seemed a bit hard to process. If that makes sense...maybe I am just odd. Antelope Canyon looks amazing - thanks for posting about it.
