I emailed Cosmo to ask if they'd match the rate, but they replied (very nicely) that they couldn't. I'm a little nervous about it, but figure for the £99 deposit, it's worth it for the saving.
I've booked the cosmo with them to so let me know how you get on, when do you go?0 -
I was thinking of booking there a car too, they have great offers. However, is anyone familiar with their T&C. I can't find how much third party liability is covered. Somebody claimed it is just 10.000$ and this would obviously not enough if I have an accident. Can such an event also be covered by a travel insurance?
Many thanks
AFAIK theyre just an agent for Dollar, Alamo etc, so it will be the Dollar Alamo insurance. Im sure its closer to $1-2 million if not more.
Looks like theyve also changed some of their insurance T&Cs......they seem to do their own Damage Excess Refund insurance.
The whole CDW, SuperCDW, LDW etc always baffles me. Can someone here shed some light on what each insurance is?illegitimi non carborundum0 -

I have had prices from cityandshow & lowcostvegas (now called lowcostusa) a few times, they have been extremly helpful in getting me the best deal that they could, although, on both occassions I managed to find a better/cheaper deal directly through the hotel with smartervegas.com.
I looked into the company and read a few reviews on tripadvisor.co.uk and alot of people swear by them0 -

The whole CDW, SuperCDW, LDW etc always baffles me. Can someone here shed some light on what each insurance is?Full loss damage waiver (LDW) or collision damage waiver (CDW). Generally these mean the same thing. Drivers who select and pay for this coverage are insulated from the rental car firm coming after them and collecting for damage to or theft of the rented vehicle, as well as towing expenses, storage and administrative fees, and "loss of use" charges associated with an accident.
SLI/LSI—supplemental liability insurance, protects rental drivers against claims and lawsuits for bodily injury and death, and damage to property other than the rented vehicle. Renters not carrying similar liability protection via their personal auto policies should strongly consider selecting this coverage. Some credit card policies do not cover liability claims at all.
The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.0 -

Maylooking to see what people think of Penn & Teller, those who have seen them. my husband really wants to go but I'm not so keen. If I'm able to get some discounted tickets them I probably will consider it but don't really want to pay $85 each.0

I saw them about 15 months ago, there were 1 or 2 tricks that were interesting other than that it didn't rock my boat at all. You also have to put up with the whoop whoop yanks. Jersey Boys and the Rat Pack were value though.
If there was a high point it was hearing Teller talk after the show.0 -
