If there was a high point it was hearing Teller talk after the show.
Have seen Jersey Boys over here and really enjoyed it, otherwise I would have gone for that, will have a look into the rat pack, thanks for that.0 -
P&T looked bored by the whole ordeal of doing the same show every day for the past ten years in the same theatre.

Marchlooking to see what people think of Penn & Teller, those who have seen them. my husband really wants to go but I'm not so keen. If I'm able to get some discounted tickets them I probably will consider it but don't really want to pay $85 each.
I m into magic so I'm biased but I think they are great. The good thing about them is its not just magic tricks but has humour in it too. They will show you how some tricks are done and then will also do a twist on that as well. There is good audience participation and they meet and greet the audience at the back of the theatre immediately after the show so a good chance to have your photo taken with them.
The best thing to advise is to watch the programme they are doing on a Friday night at the moment with Jonathan Ross on ITV as they perform at the beginning and the end. If you like their style then go!!
Or you tube them..the cups and balls routine is good!0 -

There's a group of 12 of us arriving in February, we've had a quote from http://lasvegaslimo.com/index.php which, for $162 return |(inclusive of everything except gratuity) from the airport to our hotel towards the north end of the strip for a shuttle bus seems very good.
Can anyone vouch for them at all. They're very high on the listings in Google, and seem very reputable, but if anyone has first hand experience, it would be appreciated.

Edited to say that 11 weeks tomorrow isn't the 26th of March - lol
That's my countdown to San Francisco. So it's 11 weeks on Saturday
I'll be staying at the Cosmo a month after you (booked thorugh City and Show) - can't wait to see what you think of the hotel.0 -
MarchI too, have re-looked at cosmo but its too expensive for our dates, significantly more expensive than the carriage house. Prices are just crazy for the last two weeks of March.DFW Nerd 267. DEBT FREE 11.06.08

Not sure that's that great of a deal...assuming it is just a pre-booked shuttle bus.
http://vegas.taxiwiz.com/
would indicate average cost of a taxi (max 4 passengers, I believe) would be $21 including 15% tip (surface roads, no tunnel)...you would need 3 for 12 people, so $63 each way...$126 return...of course it could be more depending on traffic and whether they add on any surcharge for additional passengers (I'm not sure if there is).
Personally, I would go taxi * 3 rather than shuttle - especially if we're talking return...loads of complaints about shuttles not turning up for the pre-paid return journey from what I've read...not necessarily with this company, and not necessarily with a big booking like this.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -
I think theyre assuming its a stretch limo, with a hole in the roof, free flowing champoo, hookers etc. Arriving at Caesars in a yellow Toyota doesnt quite have the same impact.illegitimi non carborundum0
