I'm a little perturbed to find the Coast hotels regard the terribly young "fabulous" 50 as "Seniors" but hey it means 7x points at Gold Coast, half price buffet and a free slots tournament on Mondays and 10x points and half price buffet at Orleans on Tuesdays so I'll live with it

And discounts on Tuesday's in the outlet mall. DH turned 50 on the Monday, so we quite liked that he could make use of the 'senior' discount the following day.

anyone else having trouble cancelling the travelzoo deal?

ordered mine on the 20th, requested cancellation on the 26th and just got this through from them:

'Thank you for using Travelzoo Local Deals Support. Unfortunately you do not fall within our general refund policy (can receive a refund 7 days within a live deal or 7 days within a closed deal). We cannot issue you a refund at this time.'

I got the same reply as gracie. If you are worried give them a call and copy and paste your sent message in an email. I did send mine twice in 2 days though just to make sure they got it. What a complete rip off that offer was, as OH said we could have a really nice meal with wine at MAG for the price of the tip and taxes of that deal!!!
If all else fails request a cancellation from your CC company

Looks like I opened up a can of worms mentioning the tip and taxes on that deal. Glad some of you have managed to cancel and hope the rest are successful too.

Just arrived in Vegas tonight. It is quite cool and windy. The 5 day forecast has the temperatures all over the place from 79 to 91.

The BA flight was on time. Service could have been better as the meal wasn't served until 2.5 hours after leaving and the tea took ages to appear after that. They were slow to clear the trays and some people must have got fed up and took them back to the galley themselves as there was an announcement not to do that.

I've been up since 4am on Friday so 27 hours so far and that was after 2.5 hours sleep.
