I refuse to go look see if they've dropped. I booked 10/5 last week for £445 from LHR-with CO which I'm happy with.

I think there's a double miles offer with CO flying from Belfast btw

Up to you -if the time spent to get a better deal is worth "the bother" or not.

This is MSE so most people want to get the best deal for their money so most people here will say yes-but we're not you.

Are you dead set on MGM or are other hotels also of interest? What sort of extras would interest you (eg free cocktails are no good if you don't drink-free club entry pretty useless if you don't club, discounted show tickets not worth it if you don't want to see shows etc) or is it purely a cheaper deal on the room you're looking for ?

I do quite like a bargain which is why I'm considering checking the relevant sites on a daily basis, shouldn't take long after all.

I'd be interested in pretty much any extra's however I'm travelling alone and from what I've seen a lot of what comes up is in the form of 2 for 1's.

MGM is probably the only one I'd consider, hoping to go again next year with a broader outlook on hotel choices. Of course I'd probably switch If I could find something significantly more up market for a similar price.

I going to print off a lot of the places to eat/free things to do, we have the 2 kids with us and are only there for 5 days. One of the days is the wedding, and one the hen day so not a lot of time to do stuff. There is sooooo much useful info on here and froggit your map is fab :T

Let me know how you get on with the kids, we are going with our two children, who are 8 and 5, on 20th April.

    Good luck x

Interesting I technically travel solo to Vegas a fair bit (meeting up with US friends so sometimes I'm solo in Vegas before they arrive or after they leave) and I'm curious as to what makes MGM "the only choice" for you rather than some of the other hotels.

I like the IMAX cinema at the Palms and the bowling at the Orleans for kids. Both are good value, clean , easy to get to even without a car and fun for the kids.

Are these close to the Luxor? I have not studied the maps in that much detail, just looked at them mainly for eating places lol!!! The kids are 9 and 4 but I think they would rather spend time in the pool but its always handy to know these places are there :D

10 minutes by car from Luxor-if you don't have a car then probably the best way is the free shuttle from Bill's (next to the Flamingo) to the Orleans-for the Palms-same shuttle stop but take the Gold Coast shuttle and the Palms is dead opposite.
