That does seem a good offer - we would have booked it. :) though may be based on your previous play and not open to all.
Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?

Im not sure, it has just popped up into my account when i checked, wasnt there a couple of days ago.
On our previous 2 visits to Vegas we have played at NYNY a fair bit as it has been kind to us on the tables and the slots.
Lucky for us we are there again this year on those dates and seemed a no brainer.

    Hi,

anyone know any good flight/hotel/package deals for Vegas from either heathrow or gatwick?

Expedia's prices are extortionate...I've been to Vegas many times and I'm not paying nearly a grand to stay at a rubbish hotel at a rubbish end of the strip ie Stratosphere.

Obviously the prices are now influenced by the petrol and tax rise.

So, anyone know any good websites for these airports?

    I'm flexible on months.

    Thanks!

sounds like you need to book flights/hotel separately... keep an eye on here for the latest hotel deals.

I've booked twice through Expedia (flights+hotels) and saved quite a bit compared to booking separately... must just be timing :)

As you have been many times, you must know where you want to stay so look at flights and hotels seperately.

Have you not booked DIY before

Most people on here book independently

Went for the back two seats together, H/K. Travelling as a two so thought this outweighed the disadvantages? Good decision?

I dont think they recline (much). See seatguru. Also youre by the bogs and the bog queue. And last off the plane/back of the immi queue.

See if you can get a few rows forward but still in the two.

We sat in these coming back last year and they are directly in front of the emergency exit and the recline seemed as normal as all the others - wasn't the same as some of the BA planes I've seen which definately have the limited recline in one of these seats. You aren't immediately near the loos - I'm fairly sure there are 1 or 2 rows of 4 seats in the middle that go back further and they were much closer.

I like the IMAX cinema at the Palms and the bowling at the Orleans for kids. Both are good value, clean , easy to get to even without a car and fun for the kids.

I'm surprised Palms have a cinema, thought it was just a hotel for young single gorgeous party types! ;)

My brain must still be in la-la land, weirdest jetlag of all my trips so far, either that or the old Alz is finally setting in.
Funny that, this last trip no jet lag whatsoever. I am adamant that it is the timing of the BA flight back. You leave at around 8pm, by the time you have been fed and watered and watched a bit of T.V. it is around 11pm so natural time to sleep. Wake up and it is 1pm U.K. time. Home for 5pm and ready for tea and more T.V. then to bed at 11pm. I have never felt so good after returning home.
The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.
