great trip report jadamcp thanks for posting. where is the Abercrombie and Fitch you mentioned, think you said Town Square? is this one better value than the ones at FSM and Caesars? Always end up spending a fortune in both these.

Always better value at Town Square,They have sales there that are never on at the FSM or Forum shops.Never had a problem buying something in the sales at the Town square Abecrombie e.g buying a medium t-shirt when they are sold out of large's and exchanging it at the other two.:)

hello all just a bit of frustration being vented.
Booked holiday with Virgin Holidays service was shocking at time of booking but as we used clubcard vouchers had to go through them. Paid some of my balance off 2 months ago and never received a receipt for this. Just called them now to get a up to date balance at 5p a minute it took them eleven minutes to get a answer to me. I can look up a customers balance on my work in about 20 seconds. When you book your holiday you are put through to great english call centre, but as soon as you have paid its transfered over seas I swear I was talking to the same guy who was trying to fix my router last week with virgin media. Not sure what the service is like when just booking with virgin atlantic as oppossed to virgin holiday but hardly the rockstar service they advertise. Vent over

I would like to thank everone on this thread for making booking a trip to Vegas far less daunting. I've almost certainly paid over the odds but just reading the posts on here have given me a bit more insight into the whole process, saved me a few pennies and made me more confident in splashing what is not an insignificant wedge of cash.

Got an exit row seat on a direct Virgin flight (painfully expensive but at 6 foot 5 I'm thinking worth it!), and a Grand Tower room at the MGM Grand (saved some pennies by signing up for email alerts). Countdown is now on, here's hoping nothing unfortunate happens between now and the 5th of September!

Hmmm... thought I would see how much TI was for our trip in Aug. But am a bit confused by the fact that the booking process only asks for how many adults? No drop-down menu to select no. of children??

most if not all the vegas hotels go on per person booking, search through this thread and 2010's you will find that some book kids in some do not,not sure but i think some have booked a ajoining room but not sure on that one

Anyone else got any thoughts / comments / experience on adjoining rooms in Strip hotels? That would be our ideal, but I can't find much info on this. Is it simply a case of contacting each hotel to ask?

yes, but i would not believe it until you are both in the rooms next to each other. Stayed in MGM with 5000 rooms I dont believe for one second they could not put us in adjoining rooms nor indeed find us 2 non smoking rooms.
