November / DecemberLoved the trip report Ferf! I had to save it to my computer to read it because I don't have Word and I will be keeping it to read before my November trip so that I know where to go for my first time
thank you.

As someone else posted the dealers will help you (they want your money) altho a quieter table is best, most players will also help but a busy roullette table is prob not the place to start.
Most casinos offer lessons on various tables at various times of the day
odly though last time i was there a lot less lessons were being run than in previous years
i think plan-ho was doing some at around 11am,
the hard one is craps, you realy need lessons on this, the rest youcan pick up the basics as you go, but a novice on a crap table trying to learn and play at the same time really slows down the game momentum and they always end up loosing big bucks0 -
MarchIt's Tuesday my second day back at work and the funk has hit me, brought forward my planning for my next trip from November to September, run through my cards and I can get 10 nights in Harrahs for $212 inc tax middle of the month (5 nights comped).
Flights are as everyone else is finding are more expensive £690 for VA with no availability for miles+, can get in to LA for £543.
I will probably book the room and wait to see if there is any movement on the flights, a risk as it is UK peak season for going there but I'm a gambler and will take the risk.
I will hire a car as I don't think I can do Vegas without one as I like to get around and I find that the car hire pays for itself when totted up against what I can spend on taxis.
I'm not keen on staying mid strip but at that price I can rough it.0
