November / DecemberI've flown enough with AA, CO and Delta to have had frequent flyer status with them all at various times.
I'm happy to fly with any of the three
Of the three CO have the worst food but everything else is great
Delta the connection times aren't great but the food and service are really good. I find them the friendliest. I love their Airbus flights really comfy
AA have the least comfy seats of the three (but comfier than Virgin) IMO food and service is good.
Really between the three go for the ones that have the best prices and timings for your dates
I quite like United Economy Plus going Chicago on the way out on the first flight out of Heathrow which gets to Vegas around 2pm and back via San Fran for maximum sleep. AA and Delta are also fine though0 -

Who said young people were the offenders ? The worst behaviour I saw was men in their forties as well as twenties.
Incidently lots of young people fly to New York on Virgin -yet there are not the same problems.
I agree VS don't care about the Vegas route as much as their others (MCO suffers the same "leisure" flight tag too) but regardless Virgin is the only airline with such a bad rep for drunks on the UK Vegas route -other carriers appear not to tolerate it. It's a poor business decision -people like me who go several times a year simply won't fly it-in the long run our loyalty is a better revenue stream than the stag groups and we are the people others ask for airline recomendations -not the blokes who can't remember what the flight was like cos they were too !!!!!! to remember !I Would Rather Climb A Mountain Than Crawl Into A Hole

Del
I'm a paying customer speaking as I find.
VS used to be an excellent airline-on the standard US routes they are still good but they let themselves down horribly with their leisure routes. If they weren't good on NYC, LAX, SFO etc then it wouldn't be so bad but it's the fact they show they CAN do such a good job -but actively choose not to on LAS and to a lesser extent MCO that makes it such a poor showing.I Would Rather Climb A Mountain Than Crawl Into A Hole

MarchJust to join in the flight debate...put it this way the experience we had on Virgin direct flight on our last visit was so intolerable and excruciating we are going to fly Club World Class direct with B.A. this visit....paid for a World Traveller Plus in the sale and upgraded using miles.
I would happily fly economy in AA or Continental, but we're treating ourselves this time.DFW Nerd 267. DEBT FREE 11.06.08

i'll back up what Duchy says .
worst flight i have ever taken is Virgin Gatwick - Las Vegas . best flight i have taken is Virgin Heathrow - Los Angles .
if it was only a few of us grumbling about the Vegas flight , then yeah i would say you cannot please all of the people all of the time , but nearly everyone on here thinks that flight is rubbish and a rip off .
i vowed never to fly that route with Virgin again unless they change their planes . nearly 3 years on, time has not mellowed me on that promise ( that would be if i could go to LV at all of course)Better in my pocket than theirs :rotfl:0
