Hi,
Just wondering if anyone can recommend me a good travel insurance for my trip to vegas? Should be a single trip one for 15 days and I do not do any dangerous activities. Important for me is good cover with medical expenses, cancellation due to illness should be covered up to £1500. Of course they should also have a good reputation in paying out for cases that should be covered.
Thanks!0 -

Can I just ask a couple of questions
Why 6 nights in Anaheim, and 5 in Hollywood, Anaheim and Hollywood are only about 40 mins by car apart. That seems like about 6/7 nights to long in LA. Most people hate LA. Then not enough time in Vegas.
What is a glamour suite in MGM0 -

1st time posting on this thread - but i've read the whole lot and check in every day for up dates!
i'm going in june for the 1st time:T
I haven't read anything on here about the rides! why??:p Its the rides i'm most looking forward to, sat here right now i don't think i'll do any gambling at all i have absolutly no niggle to do it (but i'm going with 3 other people so that might change if we get there and they do, i don't know)
can someone pleeease talk about the rides:D are they expensive? are the queues long? which are worth doing and which not? (if they are expensive and the queues are long)
thank you!!

Along with the rides that have been mentioned there is also Speed at Sahara (I think its still open)
Desperado at Buffalo bills in Primm about 40 mins drive away
As for cost and queues, I dont think they are particularly expensive and the queues are not long becasue as someone else posted it is not disneyland and the rides are not something people go to Vegas for.
As for worth doing, they are all worth doing if you like thrill rides. I havent done the Strat rides as I dont fancy being dangled in a chair over 1000ft above the ground0 -
AugustI'm considering re-booking for Vegas this year as my trip planned for April last year, 9 nights at the Flamingo for £650 each including return direct flights. got cancelled.
I'm reading a few bad reports on the Flamingo so think I will avoid it.
What is the Tropicana and Excalibur like now as I hear they've been refurbed? Prices seem to have gone up considerably, just looking online for either May or September and 7 nights including direct flights coming in at about £750-850.
Out of Trop, Excalibur and Flamingo, I would book Flamingo every time(location) in a GO room and hope to get view of Bellagio fountains.
Have you checked flight only and then http://www.harrahs.com/vegasvacation/ for Flamingo
There are various offers on the Trop and Excalibur websites and via links on page 10 -

MayI'm another one who would choose Flamingo over the other two-Not visited the Trop since the refurb but from what I hear it certainly doesn't push it above the Flamingo and the location isn't as good either-Excaliber is a big step down too.
If anyone is planning on booking flights before the end of March -to travel anytime- there's an Opodo discount code giving £35 off any flight over £200 if paying with an Amex card (sadly I don't have an Amex card or I'd be jumping on it as they have the UA/CO sale prices cheaper than anyone else and the same price as booking with the airlines direct)I Would Rather Climb A Mountain Than Crawl Into A Hole

I asked DH about them for you (I'm a coward and don't go on them) and he recommends the one at NYNY and the Desperado at Primm. He just walked up to the booth, paid and got on straightaway. He's never had to queue, and I think the NYNY one cost him about $10.BEST EVER WINS WON IN ORDER (so far) = Sony Camcorder, 32" lcd telly, micro ipod hifi, Ipod Nano, Playstation 3, Andrex Jackpup, Holiday to USA, nintendo wii, Liverpool vs Everton tickets, £250 Reward Your thirst, £500 Pepsi, p&o rotterdam trip, perfume hamper, Dr Who stamp set, steam cleaner.
