Has anyone been to Vegas over New Year and would you recommend going at that time of year? Were there still lots of people there at that time of year?

November / DecemberWe have never been at New Year, but have hear it is extremely busy and the hotel prices go through the roof. It depends if you like large crowds, I think.0

ThanksThe common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.0 -
OctoberI'm actually very surprised BA didn't offer any compensation as a good will gesture. I agree it wasn't their fault but I think I'd probably write into them to let them know what happened. Let them know how their crew handled it-that kind of feedback is always appreciated and may get you an acknowledgement that you suffered-without you actually having to complain as such. The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. We'll be there over New Year - but are planning a 2/3 day drive with stop offs over to the Grand Canyon. If Vegas is rammed may go over to GC for New Year's Eve/Day itself.0 -

August:huh: i mention the rides in the guide in post 3 just below The Freemont street stuff . non of them are a rip off , and you can sometimes buy tickets for them at the half price ticket booths .
Trets you know by now that no one reads the first page:mad:, despite all your effort. It is still the best guide to Vegas newcomers on the net.:T0 -
