Just make sure your running the latest version of Google Maps and you have any offline maps that you need to have access to stored. I believe only the latest version 5.0+ has this feature. Otherwise your be paying for data rates in the USA which will cost £100s as its very expensive to use mobile data over there from a UK phone. I blew £10 of credit within seconds of using google maps on my iPhone, never again! A quick google got this result which says it should be possible now.

sorry for the delay in getting back to you all guys, the Cosmo deal with breakfast each day my OH found on tigerhotels.co.uk. I have not heard from them before but read a few reviews from people on tripadvisor who had used them with no problem. the offer details are as follows:

    "Room Only
and Includes Free Breakfast, guest Staying 3 Or More Nights Will Receive Free Breakfast For 2 People Per Day, Per Room."

When you do a search the offer only becomes visable in the 'more rooms' section of the cosmo bit.

I have double checked their cancellation policy and a £25 cancellation fee applies for cancellations upto a week before. We would be happy with that price but if we found anything better for more than £25 difference then it's still a no lose for us. Since we are over there for our wedding we would rather have the security of having something booked now with the option to cancel and rebook (albeit for a £25 fee)

Nevar heard of that website, maybe others have.

My concerns are that it gets very few hits a day (about 43) , the Cosmo along with others is way cheaper than anywhere else I have seen, Also No deposit rqd to make a booking, how does that work when the hotel will require 1 night deposit instantly so how do tigerhotels secure the booking

It all looks to good to be true to me

Where did you find reviews on tripadvisor

Planning 12 days in Vegas in November for my wedding which sadly go over 2 weekends.

Hotels are a bit of a nightmare to choose from, but the wife-to-be and I want to try a couple of different hotels so we're planning to stay no more than 3 days in any one hotel.

Which hotels would you choose from the following, assuming you are booking their cheapest rooms. (The wedding nights are sorted - Venetian)

    Bally's, Harrah's, Tropicana, Flamingo

    and for off-strip:

    Orleans, Rio, Palms, Gold Coast

We're out there between 17th November and 29th November, then fly to LA for 2 nights.

like photome, i personally would tread with caution. they may be 100% legit, but for me there are alarm bells with that website, the terrible grammar for a start! (geeky maybe, but always a worry for me)

    "photo galary" ... reaaaally?

i also did a search for the hotel i'll be staying at in July, and the tigerhotel's descriptions/names of the rooms do not match with those on the official website.

but I have never used them, so can't properly comment... the website was registered less than a year ago, so they may just be starting off...

It's not a recognised name -and that hit rate is awfully low. In your shoes I wouldn't personally risk it when a very nearly as good rate is available with CityandShow who lots of people have personal experience of here and recommend.

Sorry but yes I suspect it may be a bit too good to be true
