    Going to Vegas for the third time in March, 10th to 19th. Staying 4 nights at the Mirage and 5 nights at the Four Seasons. Can't wait :jgetting very excited. We have been in July and August before and wore shorts in the daytime and dressed up a little more for the evening.

    What does a woman wear in the day in March? I presume it might be like a late spring or early summers day in the UK, warmish? Not short weather? Cropped trousers and t-shirts in the day? My husband will be wearing shorts as he is always warm, wears them here all winter in the house when the heating is on!

    Thanks for any input.

    we went last week in feb and on my wall front of me I have a photo of me and mates wearing coats in the snow at the grand canyon!
    Vegas was a tad cold I didnt brave shorts just 3/4 lengths a couple of times. Bearing in mind even if outside is warm it can be very cold in the casinos under the air con

    Blue Man Group are switching from Venetian to Monte Carlo in October 2012, and Jabbawockeez has been extended through November this year

    You will love Four Seasons. If you have a car I would phone them up and ask nicely if they would waive the parking fee, which I think is $20 a day.I emailed them before we went threatening to cancel my booking with them if they didn't as I hadn't realised that they charged when I booked. If not just park it in the MB car park and walk through the casino to get to 4S.
    The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.

    Afternoon all,

    Does anyone know off the top of their head if any of the nicer hotels have private dining rooms? We will be a party of 10 for our wedding and had planned on having Society Cafe @ Encore (purely for the Cowboy Ribeye and mouthwatering banana splits!!) - I've emailed and got the back of the restaurant but now there are more guests I would really like something private.

    Cuisine = steaks/modern european.
    Cost = not really a consideration, just want somewhere nice.
    Location = Strip

    Big thanks as always :)

    we're having a similar discussion at our house at the moment, flying on the 2nd.

    You can get an idea of temps here:
    http://www.weather.com/weather/monthly/USNV0049?month=1

    At the moment, for March, they only have the averages.

    I'm still not sure if 20* = shorts weather for me or not...my hubby is certain it is for him (I think it's a guy thing).

    I'm going to pack a couple of pairs of shorts just in case temps are higher than average, but going mainly with skirt/leggings or light trousers...short sleeved tops and cardigans...to try to cover my bases. The evenings are obviously fairly cool and as has been said, the casinos can be quite cold with the air con.
    Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?

    Open table shows which restaurants offer private dining. Here's a link that may be of use. You can tailor the search on the left....
