That would be a Jawa (the little monk thing)- i am very excited about there being star wars things - i am a geek.

These ones are much better than the speed bike bonus. You can turn the sound up really loud too. It has a bonus with a bug rusty brown ship thing that goes through the desert too. Can't remember finding many more star wars slots. There was one close to the lions in MGM but I think it was the speed bike bonus (these are evil and suck you into feeding them so much money). There are a couple in Aria close to where the waitresses fetch the drinks from but they were always busy even at 7 in the morning so I never got to play them. The ones from the Palazzo had gone that I had played in before.

i will track the non-speeder bike ones down (and the brown thing in the dessert is either a pod-racer,skiff, land speeder or jabbas sail barge) - is there any strategy tip available for slots of is it just pure luck?

Best strategy is don't get too comfortable and drink too much!!

Alternatively, I'll put a $10 in and if I don't seem to get any small wins and it eats the money straight away I will move to a different machine.

The brown rusty thing looked barge like and was huge.

Thanks very much for the info - I don't think we have seen these particular Star Wars slots before so hubby will be on the hunt for them. They have a few at M Resort...one of the casinos downtown has several of the older-style ones. And I agree that the ones with the speeder bike bonus can be hoovers, but if you're walking by and the lowest jackpot is really high, it can be worth sitting down...we did once when it was $50+ (usually it is more like $2-$5)...there was one other guy there playing 2 of them and he was clearly so annoyed that others had joined in. If you're the only one who has qualified for the bonus when it triggers, you know will win at least the lowest jackpot, so when we sat down and quickly got the qualifying symbols he was maaaad. :)

You can't drive over the dam anymore...the bypass opened in Oct...

I'm sure what you meant to say was that there is no longer a through road acorss the dam. You can still drive across the dam to get to the various Arizona side viewpoints but you can't rejoin the highway on that side anyomre

really? I thought you couldn't actually drive across the dam full stop...apologies to the OP if that's incorrect.
