I've had a lovely bath tonight and shaved, scrubbed and buffed everything in sight. I have snuggly socks over moisturised feet too. Nothing UU though.
Rosemary, sorry your day has been so meh :( I hope you do manage to get him to talk about what his issues are. You can't solve a problem if you don't know what it is.
Belated Happy Birthday to mandymoomoo. Hope you had a lovely day.
    Welcome newbies :).
And, I have read that poem too. It seems to be following me around at the moment. I try to bear it in mind and I do burn the candles. I let the kids have their juice from wine glasses in the morning and we use our solid silver napkin rings when we sit down to dinner. Life is so much nicer when it has a bit of a shine to it isn't it?

A question please - I bought a BS coconut lip butter which I expected to love as it's my fave smell for er, smellies, and I don't! It leaves a horrible white film on your lips which looks awful, so, any reason why I can't use this as a foot or elbow cream?

because the lip butter police will arrest you?

  • evening all,

a not very exciting uu today - simple face wash, I chop and change cleansers but always seem to come back to this one, I think it does a good job at a bargain price.

also dumped two cream highlighters when I realised they were almost as old as my teenage daughter :o- I guess I wasn't impressed enough with them to use them very often.

I've come out in a stinker of a rash today all over my neck and chest area, I used an Elizabeth Arden face wash for the first time (sisters have gone back to uni so am trying to declutter the bathroom AGAIN) and I suppose this must be it. Its angry red and raw, very itchy, and when I put dermobase moisturiser on it it really flamed up again - very strange!

Have a good night ladies x

last time I was in an airport - far too long ago - I used the tester of EA 8 hour cream on the back of my hands. When I reached my destinatiop my handx were really dry and sore - I was so glad I hadn't bought it or tried it on my face

I've got to admit, my desire to keep things until I use them has meant keeping a few too many things for a little too long, but I've not thrown them out and feel good about having the extra space. It has also made me promise myself not to buy anything I can't use before it is likely to go off - what a wast of product and money!

    First use up since joining!:j

It was a Sanctuary Hand Cream. I got it 5 years ago, and that was after my nan had had it sat on her shelf for a little while before deciding she wouldn't use it:o. I would buy it again, and I have 2 similar ones in the stash, but I'll have to use the avon one up- that's been open for a fair amount of time as well. Oops. :o

    Happy Birthday Mandymoomoo :)
