are you supposed to use the serums before, after or instead of moisturiser:question:

and scrub on wet or dry skin and before, after or instead of shower gel:question:

I was told by some counter in Boots (forget which one) to put serum first, moisturiser second.

Other news! 1st UU of 2011. My botanics body wash.
WNBA. Have really gone off botanics stuff lately. Doesn't seem as nice as S&G or The Body Shop.

Hoping to finish off a mini body butter tomorrow! :j

decided that i will put £1 into a terramundi pot for each of my use ups. I think i will put £2 if i buy something of which i have stock off, If the last one is in use then that's alright!
  • Sending big hugs to Lyndseydee.

Forgotten who it was who mentioned threading.

I get my eyebrows done every fortnight and it is painful but gets a much better shape than waxing. (well for me)

My step-dad tried it once to tame his mono-brow and couldn't take the pain.
    Men are wimps! :p

    Hello my pampered princesses!
I will be back in this month, just struggling to read through all the pages, 13 so far and only on the 3rd of the month  looks like lots of nice girly gossiping and hopefully we will be getting rave reviews of all the products received over Christmas! (pampered princesses, rave reviews, girly gossip...i think i must have swallowed a crateful of alphabetty spaghetti for that atrocious alliteration - there I go again :rotfl: )

lynseydee - hugs for you, he sounds like a rotter to say that so soon after the holidays - hope you feel better soon about it all, and hope this year is good to you xx

welcome to all the fabulous newbies, we're a very friendly thread :hello: yes you will be using up products, but i apologise in advance, i do often confess my bargain buys on here and accidently tempt others in the process! Hope you can stay stronger than me!

Some UU to report, back on topic!

2x face scrubs - I decided to throw these out as they are coming up for a year each and I don't really use them, I think one was from a cosmetic trial and one was a cheapie from Cuticura WIBA not really, I do have others in the stash which I now have to look one out, think a S&G one will have to be picked!

And one face wash cracked open tonight to use in the bath for the first time gave me the most almighty rash all across my face, and down my neck and decollette! I will be gifting that to a girl my mum works with who doesn't have much money to spare on toiletries so if she doesn't want it i'll bin it. WIBA not unless I was going to a fancy dress as a sunburned tourist :rotfl: I might have to pay a visit to the shops to buy the Neutrogena grapefruit facewash that I trialled before and loved it! softened and moisturised my skin so well, I do believe that could be a HG product for me.

have a good day ladies and stay strong....I will be working my way through the pages now and then may take a peek at Grabbit...

    xx

I had a sample of this and really liked it. I have it in mind for when I've finished my Lush Coalface soap, which I like although I think it does make my face a teensy bit tight. I find it too messy - how does anyone store soaps these days? I've been putting it in a plastic sandwich bag :rotfl::rotfl:but it's clearly not ideal.
  • Hello hello - confession time already!!! I don't have any bubble bath so decided to use shower gel instead... which is no where near as good IMO. Sooooooooo I wandered in to Lush and bought 2 bubble bath bomb things and OMG I love it! I used a bit of a raspberry whirlly thing and it smells great, gives lots of bubbles and turns the water pink! I really love it and have never used Lush stuff before - I am going to have to be strong not to go crazy!! :D I have decided to use the Lush thing and shower gel on alternate nights... so some using up... oops!

Anyway, enjoying the chat and support, sorry to hear your news Lynsaydee. Hope the rest of you are OK and not so weak willed as I appear to be! Luckily I don't often go to town so that should help the new Lush love xxx

    Hi Turtle,

Have you tried "Fresh Farmacy" from Lush? I also found Coalface made my face a tiny bit tight but fresh farmacy works great.

I use an old fashioned soap case to store it in the bathroom - the low price one from Sainsburys
