Hello lovelies!
Ooh Blimey! :eek:I had another NPI yesterday. (Near Purchasing Incident)
My daughter was looking for Models Own nail polish and just generally browsing when I came across Famous by Sue Moxley in Superdrug and wanted to buy loads of it all of a sudden!
Then we went to Boots and I nearly bought some Olay Complete Care Touch of Foundation. (Two for £10) and almost bought that new Maybelline foundation with the funny applicator (£9.99).
Having decided that in this mood the shops were clearly not a safe place for me to be we went home, and switched on the telly, and what should come on but a Mally Beauty make up show on QVC!
It was a tough old day!
P.S.: Nice stash EH!
P.P.S. I posted my photos of The Stash on Makeupalley finally, and I've had 18 messages either congratulating me on the size of it or asking questions about it! I feel as if I've found my spiritual home.:D

I've decided I'm going to be a good girl today and head out to the gym, come home and have an extremely long pampering session to try and get some more UU!
Wish me luck!Saving all my pennies0 -
Tara - I had a look last night - and Fernes stuff OUT of the box seems to be rocking in at about £5 or so at the moment - wether its the lack of postage cost (cos obviously its going to cost less without the hatbox) or what I dont know, but Id be pretty happy with that - pretty storage boxes cost over a fiver round here !
Sarah - yes - one minute I had about 1/3 of a bar - the next it was this tiny see through sliver ??!!!! very odd - but also very offputting when it comes to decideing wether to buy again or not. Still - another one down, and its not like I dont have any more.....Do not meddle in the affairs of dragons, for you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup0 -

This reminded me of another UU I had yesterday : Biore Pore Unclogging Scrub. I've been using this for years. Anyway I haven't repurchased as I had the S&G Scrub Your Nose in it in my tote. Tried it last night in the shower and was more impressed with it than the Biore as the grains are smaller. It did remind me of a Crabtree and Evelyn foot scrub that I once had though! Seemed ok on me.My absolute favourite in the whole wide world is benefit bad gal. But it doesn't like me back
Will never, EVER buy bad gal again
I have a real problem when buying mascaras because the first consideration for me is the brush. Bad Gal is lovely but the brush is huge and because I have very short stubby lashes it's difficult to get anywhere near them with it. I've recently tried Maybelline Great Lash which has a great brush but then the mascara itself is awful, it flakes off and I get panda eyes with this one. The only ones that have worked for me are Clinique Lash Power and Avon Magnify (which I own in brown). Am gonna get one of these in black next time they are on offer as the reason I've not repurchased Clinique is the price.Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

Could you use the Maybelline brush in the Bad Girl Mascara? Would that even work?
Another bad nightGonna make them give me a Dr's appt for tomorrow as can't go on like this with another sleepless night
Especially if I do stupid things at stupid o'clock in the morning like take advantage of the ASOS sale and buy a S&G Mini Series Box Set:o:mad::rotfl: Which I don't need

a cheapo bath bomb I got for Christmas that turned the water blue while it dissolved and then left no evidence
I might as well have been lying in a bath of plain old hot water:rotfl:
I added some glogg for scent and bubbles
felt really down about my job yesterday and had the go into town = dagerous combo!
lots of problems at work that are beyond my control and I'm reaching the point (not the first time) when I question staying there. However, these days I know I should be grateful for a job and feel guilty for feeling like this
point of saying this isn't to ply for sympathy but to say I managed to avoid comfort-buying any toiletries :T
the closest I got was buying some cleaning stuff in wilkos!
have a good day all
out to church in a bit then lunch out and seeing 'King's Speech' so a nice day ahead
currently sitting at laptop with hair and face in masks and feeling quite chillaxed in advance of the week ahead!0 -
Jaxxs I saw that Mally make up set on QVC - about £45 with P&P. I read the reviews and they are mixed so I will stay away :A Shame as it looked lovely on TV. The main negatives seemed to be the mascara dried out very quickly and the lipgloss had a duff brush that splayed and it went gloopy. It was the lipgloss I liked the look of. I may try and get a L'Oreal pink lipgloss later as I've just realised I only have the S&G one which I've not opened yet but doesnt look pinky.
PS: Checked my plan which says no buying lipgloss for next 3 months but I had to lob a Clinique sample as had been opened so long. Will look at the S&G one and if that's pink enough I won't buy a new one. I'm going off the Rimmel one as it doesnt have a brush and I end up with gloss around the edges of my lips (not a great look) but I love the taste (bubblegum!). The Superdrug one I have is Vaseline.Declutter 300 things in December challenge, 9/300. Clear the living room. Re-organize storage

I know what you mean about work and things being out of your control - having a time of it myself! However when things get really bad I think of my goal which is to be debt-free by the time I'm 47 (42 at the mo) and I know that it's 5 years but each day that goes by I'm a little bit closer, and the support on these threads is so wonderful !
I have a UU to report Sanctuary Mande Lular Body Souffle, WIBA? well I don't need to - I've got loads more in my stash, I have to say I'm not over keen on the scent mysef, but it does make my skin lovely and soft.Always be yourself, unless you can be a Unicorn - then always be a Unicorn !
