thanks Tara - will see how the big used bottle gets on before I decide I think - there looks to be a lot on there at the moment with not many bids, and its a lot for me to find at the moment if Im not going to make back at least what it costs!! (if that doesnt sound greedy!!)

Forgive me I have sinned since my last post 2 hours ago haha!!

So I went to superdrug I did have a 10gift card but I did spend over that anyways . I bought:

coconut and sweet almond intensive conditioner :D

    tresemme heat protect

and optimum swiss apple serum ( as it was on special 2 for 18pound ) normally 14.99 each

    :) HAPPY SHOPPING!!

    Hey

If anyone is shopping in Superdrug and is going to spend over £10 on any products don't forget to do the online survey from your last purchase (its either on the back of your superdrug receipt or on a separate one they give you) the questions are quite easy and it doesn't take too long and you'll get 10% off branded stuff and 25% off any superdrug own brand stuff... which the optimum swiss apple serum is!!! as long as you spend over £10

Anyway enough about work :o just hate to see people not getting the best buy possible :D

One UU to report :j Superdrug Coconut and Shea Butter Body Butter WIBA Yes definately, love the smell its lovely and thick and makes my skin so soft.... don't need to buy at the moment tho think i've still got 5 of these to use but will give one of the others a go.

Will hopefully have more UUs to report in the next week or so... looks like everything is going to run out at once, shampoo, toothpaste and body wash

Have put £1 in the pot for the UU today

  • I have to 'fess up to another 2 IN's - popped into Sainsburys earlier on for the eye makeup remover, and decided to get two bottles. This increases my stash to 5 (with one in use) but I know I will use it, and even on 3 for 2 at Boots it would still cost me more than that.

Thanks for everyones good wishes - I managed to get to sleep at around 6am and slept til 1pmish. Hoping for a better night tonight as we have to be up early to meet a friend for a doggy play date :D
I'd give it a go - as Kaz says, try it and see how you go. The ones that are designated as hair & body might be the best ones to try first, but as you say I suspect the only major difference is levels of some of the products for lathering etc - we expect a creamier lather from a shampoo than from a body wash. Your hair sounds fab! Thanks :D I think I will try it - and will start with the snow fairy - gives me an excuse to go round smelling like fairground candyfloss for a while :rotfl: Not bothered about the foaming - going to look for a less foamy shampoo anyway as I'm convinced its the bubbles that make my hair go Yikes!

Also as you say Kaz it doesn't hold the same temptation for me as Boots although I'm not sure why that is - layout and familiarity perhaps?
I always find SD a little bit off putting - I think it's because some of their shelving is so high and I am quite small - and their own brand packaging seems a little ... tacky and/or childish sometimes:o

..... I have used shower gel as shampoo - my hair doesn't feel great after but I do have very thick unmanageable hair - it's just like using a cheap shampoo - I guess they put some softener thingy in nice shampoo? You do have to use a nice conditioner afterwards.

I guess I'll have to spend some of the cash I'll be saving from not buying shampoo on a good conditioner :p

and one suprising UU - a body shop think it was cranberry and blackcurrant or something like that soap that I only started a couple of weeks ago - its only lasted about 8 baths - WIBA?? no- not at the cost/bath ratio,

Did it just disintergrate? The BS Cherry one I had just fell apart in layers everytime I used it

A couple of UU's for me today and one IN:

    UU's:
Annoyingly my toothpaste - Have chucked the bottle so can't remember exactly but I know it was Pearl Drops. It wasn't supposed to run out until later in the week but we had DD and friend with us overnight and they seem to have gone a bit mad! Annoying because I don't have a back up bottle and double annoyingly I forgot to get one when we went to the shops so will have to do a mad dash in the morning - and not speak to anyone or open my mouth :o:rotfl:
BS Spiced Vanilla Body Butter: :( WIBA? Yes - love this! So thick and creamy and sinks in well and smells - oh! divine! Can't afford any though - so unless it's still BOGOF on Monday (which is unlikely) will just have to keep my fingers crossed they bring it back next year.
A couple of Showergel/Bodywashes - Superdrug Mineral Spa: WIBA? Probably not - another gift from 'last-minute gift panic' OH :p In fact he's the one that used it up as he thought it might help his back ....No - I'm not sure why either :rotfl: and a large trial bottle from years ago that looks amazingly like Johnson Baby brand: WIBA? If I knew for definate which one it was probably as it was very creamy and soft and not too foamy.

    IN:
I think I've solved my 'no toner after sunday' problem too. I've found a roll of those LUSH Tea Tree Toner Tabs I'd forgotten about - so am going to dissolve them in hot water, let it cool and transfer to an empty bottle. Will need to check how long it's recommended you keep before throwing but will probably just see how it goes. Hopefully will mean I won't have to buy toner in February at least :D

Like others most of my stash is gifts or glitches - especially showergels - 70% of the showergels I have are Vanilla Scented  The rest is cherry or chocolate - all food 'flavours' :o I am determined to get it down to just one in stash one in use for everything and that way I won't feel too guilty if I do stock up on something from a good special offer :D

For those wanting to eBay Gok and Fearne - in my my late night 'shopping' trips I've seen that Gok seems to be doing quite well but Fearne is selling about as well as she did in Boots :o Poor Fearne :rotfl:

DD wants me to eBay her FCUK Her EDT that she got for xmas - but it's not really selling for much and I think she's expecting £££££'s  I might just give her a fiver for it and stick in in my pressie box :p

Going to brave BS site as really want to get that Hemp Handcream for my Mum - Will NOT buy anything for myself! :naughty:

Just one more uu - a sample size Elemis Pro collagen hand and nail cream.

WIBA - it's good, it sinks in quickly and leaves my skin soft, but I have lots more hand creams to use up before I can justify buying more.
Oooh I had that in a gift set. Lovely stuff. Costs about £30 quid a tube!!!:money:

Thank you, and yes they do, I've found it now :oHere it is, for anyone interested.
Ooh thanks for that. Just got a card through the post from John Lewis. Their gift with purchase for Clarins starts soon, it includes "supersize" gifts ie 30ml not the measley 15ml usually but (VERY BIG BUT) only get the gift when you buy a skincare product.....
Plus this DOES NOT include any cleansing products, or toners, or exfoliators. Damn! The very reason I buy a gift with purchase is to get my Clarins cleansers. Shame as John Lewis are normally very helpful and stuff. :o

Another small UU today and my only IN in January. UU is Clinique Eye Make Up Remover 30mls. Only have the 60mls size left in the stash so in keeping with the one in use and one in stash I have nipped out to Sainsburys and picked up the L'Oreal one that has been recommened here. I am hoping to love this as much as my clinique one.
Let us know how you get on. I converted from Clinique to this. :T

The S&G scrub your nose in it has now become a foot scrub as I do not want to chance anymore breakouts! Its very mentholy so I will have sweet feet! lol
My one has gone to a friend. I used my HG Dermologica (this time Skin Prep) and it has already started calming the whole area. Grrrr to S&G for this product, perhaps the methol is oil based and aggravating skin.

I know what you mean. It flaked on me and made my eyes sting. I now use Rimmel Volume Flash (pink one) as Lisa Eldridge a make up artist used it in one of her videos. The non waterproof one has a colour called Ultra Black and it's fab.:A

£30? In which case if I get it again it will have to be on a very special offer. Although by the time I have worked through the hand cream stash it will probably have gone up in price.
