  • morning all:wave:,

I thought I'd been doing pretty well on the 'no buying' front this month but I've just totalled up what I've spent - £35.72:eek:, if I do this every month then that will be £428.64 in a year on lotions & potions :eek::eek::eek::eek:, enough for a very nice little holiday!

methinks it's time to catch a mighty big grip on my toiletries addiction !!!!!!!

so I'm aiming for No buying in February at all!!

Jaxxs I saw that Mally make up set on QVC - about £45 with P&P. I read the reviews and they are mixed so I will stay away :A Shame as it looked lovely on TV. The main negatives seemed to be the mascara dried out very quickly and the lipgloss had a duff brush that splayed and it went gloopy. It was the lipgloss I liked the look of. I may try and get a L'Oreal pink lipgloss later as I've just realised I only have the S&G one which I've not opened yet but doesnt look pinky.

I'm reading the reviews as we speak! :o:D I already use the lipgloss (but in two other colours) so I'm not too worried about that, but a mascara drying out fast is a bit of a bummer.

I wear my Mally lip glosses most days, but yesterday I went for a Jemma Kidd lippies and really didn't like my lips in it. It seemed to make them look very deflated flat and lined whereas the Mally one makes them look smooth and the shininess makes them look plump. I was quite depressed when I looked in the mirror with the JK on, and had to root around in my bag and put some Mally on top! :D:o

I already use and love the Brow Boost and I have the eyeliner system in a couple of colours so you can guess that I love that too. ;):D I like the slightly softer, stay all day effect.

It's just the eye shadows which would be new to me, but I have 3 other Mally palettes that I like a lot. :o

But I'm not buying anything!:rotfl:

I've just thrown away the following as they are too old and have gone off. Yuck!

1 bottle Escentiel Moisturing Body Lotion
1 bottle Baylis & Harding Floral Bouquet Moisturising Hand & Body Lotion

I didn't even realise the second one was Baylis & Harding as the packaging is nothing like what they have out in the shops at the minute. It was really ye olde world looking. I didn't realise that they existed before the new modern, clear packaging!

What a waste! I hate waiting, so this will NOT be happening again!

Hi everyone, couple of OUT's going on here:

Sold 2 more shower gels on the Lush forum and a LE Body lotion too. Have a sale lined up for at least 3 more! Decided that I'm going to list a whole load of makeup for sale soon, possibly on the Lush forum too or as a blog sale. I have a large stash and realised that I wear pretty much the same combo everyday!

This month my only IN's have been an Urban Decay de slick setting spray because I was out of Fix + and wanted to test it out and 2 Urban decay matte e/s that I have almost finished and use pretty much everyday! So nothing new really, just replacing my HG's!

Tara - I had a look last night - and Fernes stuff OUT of the box seems to be rocking in at about £5 or so at the moment - wether its the lack of postage cost (cos obviously its going to cost less without the hatbox) or what I dont know, but Id be pretty happy with that - pretty storage boxes cost over a fiver round here !

Yes, I'd be happy to get £5 for it trudi. :)

EH, wow @ your stash!!! Some lovely stuff there :D

Jacks xx, well done on going a month without buying!!! And congrats on avoiding buying yesterday, very impressive. :T I'll aim for ZERO spend in Feb, I don't need ANYTHING at all. :o

catslovelycats - sorry to hear your job is horrible at the mo. Mine is really stressful too (because my manager is a nightmare), so you have my sympathy. Enjoy 'The King's Speech', it is a great film and will lift your spirits.

Right, I'm off for a face mask and a shower! See you all later xoxoxo
