UU: Clarins body butter (small tube) I would buy it again but have loads more to use
On another note, I was just wondering how everyone here comes to have such large stashes? For me, it is due to getting lots of toiletries as birthday and Christmas presents and then taking up any offers of shampoo, deodrant, face wash etc in the shops - Boots normally!
Plus, as I am a uni student living away from home, I like to have things at home and at uni so often have 2 shampoos etc on the go to save having to take one back and forward with me wherever I go
Have a good day everyone!

For me it's because I can't walk past a 'good deal'. If I get an email or see an offer instore for something I like I tend to buy it whether I need it or not. If you do that for long enough, you end up with a big stash! What I've now realised is that there will *always* be deals on offer and I don't need to buy everything that looks good!
I've not bought anything in 2011 toiletries wise and I'm really pleased I can keep it up. I like the challenge of finishing up what I've already gotNot buying unnecessary toiletries 2024 26/53 UU, 25 IN0 -
Well I'm still awake, still in pain and still here
....but I have just seen a post on the 'shop but don't drop' forum that Superdrug are launching a Loyalty Card (a la Advantage Points) in May :j
Has anyone else heard anything?
Nope haven't hear anything about it but then I rarely buy from Superdrug only for a bargain. I will be heading there to buy the 3 cans of dry shampoo.Tracey2609 wrote: »if I dry it curly it looks like like Ronald McDonald if someone had put an iron on his head
This made me laugh :rotfl:sundance218 wrote: »On another note, I was just wondering how everyone here comes to have such large stashes?

Well for me I have hoarded out of a fear of running out of what I like to use so bulk bought in sales etc...combined with just a oooOOOOoooo that looks pretty buying system I had to years. (which I conqured a long time ago). Also I feel I was also looking for that HG products and would just buy random products to try out. I must have spent thousands over the years - what a waste of money.

I've just ordered 3 bottles of Batiste from Superdrug  I dont have any in my stash and figured it might come in handy in the first few weeks after bump is born.... and at 3.49 for three cans delivered, I thought it was worth a shot.....
My new theory being ordering online saves a trip into town, so i'll be saving money in the long run......
On another note, asked OH to do the weekly shop on his way home from nights this morning...... I've just seen the receipt  think its safe to say it wont be happening on a weekly basis :rotfl::rotfl:[/QUOTE] From SJP, sorry it doesn't seem to have boxed and credited the quote.
OOps didn't realise that I could order from SD online. Thanks to SJP. So have made my order  from the comfort of my armchair with a cuppa. Glad that I didn't have to go out as my asthma is playing up and had to go to GP yesterday and started steroids  I got very cold yesterday so staying warm today and the hoovering will help :rotfl:
Well, now I will have enough stuff to last for yonks - so no no no spending for at least 3 months
Hope you are feeling better today Sarah - Take care.0 -
Couple of UU for me. Listerine Mouthwash 500mls WIBA? Already have and I am now on to my last 500mls in my stash so will be on the hunt for a good deal.
Also a binned item. Clarins eye shadow quad which I bought a few years ago but abandoned it. I couldn't remember why when I returned to it the other day but after an hour of the shadow being on my eyes started to get itchy. Then it all came back to me - that is why I stopped using it. Despite it being new back then it had the same effect on me. So this time round it went straight into the bin.

Just one more uu - a sample size Elemis Pro collagen hand and nail cream.
WIBA - it's good, it sinks in quickly and leaves my skin soft, but I have lots more hand creams to use up before I can justify buying more.0 -
uu T-tree nose strips (can't remember proper name -sorry!) - will only buy if pester power of DD gets too much!0

for me a lot of my skin creams come from GWP's as I tended to aim purchases of my (then) regular stuff to coincide with special offers.
everything else is down to either not being able to resist what appeared to be a good deal at the time or presents from other people. Or the other biggie - being totally suckered in by advertising - although I think I'm getting better at this!0 -
Morning all,
Some huge (literally) INs for me. My Bliss body butter and shower gel arrived yesterday. The body butter is ginormous - the tube looks like one of those oversized window display packs, so I'm guessing that those 2 products will last me 6 months - very :money:!
There were 2 freebies inside a cute little Bliss pouch too - 10ml of Triple OxygenC moisturiser and a sachet of orange and white pepper body butter. I've already started the moisturiser out of curiosity - it feels lovely when applying but haven't noticed a miracle yet...:)
No UUs yet though, and I want to buy some muslin cloths and EH's HG eye mu remover if it's still on offer in Sains. I have no shame... :rotfl:0
