The strange thing is that when she was about 12/13 she had a stash of carrier bags:eek::eek::eek: Not even nice ones, just normal everyday ones, and I wasn't allowed to throw them out!!

I used to collect carrier bags too :o I've grown up a little and now it's jute bags and foldaway bags :rotfl:

£2.13 each or THREE for £3.49!!! Absolute bargain. I have never seen it as cheap as that.

    :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I've seen it for 99p in Home Bargains before - full size can not 'handbag' sized

    In superdrug :D

One UU for me - Finally my night cream has ended :j Aldi Siana Nourishing Anti-Wrinkle Night Cream: WIBA? I probably will. I know it's supposed to be this miracle cream at an affordable price but it's a little greasy on applying but sinks in nicely. I will probably get it as a 'tide over' if there are no offers or glitches about when I need to buy one next.

Tomorrow I get to go 'stash shopping' and choose my next one :T

She is pretty organised, but so am I, even though I have a fairly :o large stash, I know what I've got and (roughly) where it is. DD does buy far too much food IMO, her larder is full to bursting, I could live out of her cupboards for a month I'd say!!

Hoarding tendencies must be genetic then :rotfl:

Looks like I started something with the foam party.... Reading the small print dotted around the Foam Party website, Clairol want everyone to give it a go in early March and report back en masse.

I'll give the foam party a miss... I've never dyed my hair and wouldn't want to either! I like the colour of it. I'd probably dye it if it went grey though.

Thanks for the link to the foam party thing. I have applied and also got that "we'll be in touch" reply. I have been honest with my answers but I do experiment with my hair a lot... too much my hair would say... lol

What's Elasticizer? Is it a hair conditioner? How much does it cost?

    Yes... and a lot. :D

There's an OS tip about brushing talc through your hair to freshen it up if you don't have time to wash it. Well the dry shampoo's work on the same basis :D except they smell better :rotfl:and doesn't leave you looking like an am-dram grandma :rotfl:

Your hair type (I would think) is the ideal example. You shake the can and spray (like Hairspray) where required - just on the roots for example - leave for a few moments then brush and style as usual. Basically it just soaks up the greasy bits - but it sounds nicer to say 'refreshes when in a rush' :p

I love them and am planning on stocking up while the offer is still on. I first used them when I was in hospital and didn't have the energy to bath or shower everyday and like to have them in for my 'low' weeks :o

Thanks very much for explaining it so well - hope you feel better soon and sleep well :)

Now, if I buy some before the end of the month I can still try to go with a no spend month in February. Me thinks a little visit to SD is on the cards tomorrow. Much more important than housework

My splutterers are all still spluttering well. I had the most flatulent sounding bathroom on the planet this morning - foot cream- PHLARPH! - face cream - FLURPH! ... Plus the amazing everlasting Mitchum roll on anti persp. which is still producing product though apparently empty when held to the light.
Thanks for making me laugh :D I so know what you mean :rotfl:

re did the foam party and got in this time after ticking all the "right" boxes!

had a look at the stash ....good news only 1 large and 2 small body butters left:)bad news about 20+(did not have the nerve to count them) hand creams left.plus loads of other stuff so don't really need to do the clinique bonus time....except that I could do with some moisture surge to be ready for my hols and always need concealer pen so might as well get a gwp at the same time:rotfl:

OOPS, just been in the airing cupboard looking for toothpaste(just 1 small one from Bzzzz left)BUT found another 4 large and 2 small body butters:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek: and yet more hand cream....at this rate I won't need to buy any more for at least a year.

must also be cracking up as am sure there was some more toothpaste as usually have loads in:(

Good news DS2 now has a job and will be moving in with girlfriend(I will miss him of course but at 23 it is time he went his own way and after 3 years at uni it is not good for him to be dependent on us.
Could you give any of the body butters or hand creams as a little set as a pressie for someone? :A

No, not at the moment :A ... but I don't get the opportunity to buy - if i was working near a town with Boots and Superdrug, then I think I probably would :rotfl:

Someone has just told me that there is a branch of Sallys near me, that often have a good selection of OPI nail polish, I'm trying to pretend I never heard that  otherwise I'd be there a couple of times a week!

I do have a little mini stash of travel sized bits and bobs from Clarins that were GWPs, which I keep for holidays.
Good to hear you dont have a stashing problem - lets hope no one on here leads you astray. Some days you cant see the wood (the stash) for the trees of B**ts, B*dy Sh*p and others :rotfl:
Thanks for the tip about the Superdrug deal - I wonder if that includes the brunette one which I prefer (doesnt make me look odd or old!):p
Going to bin the Laura Geller Balance & Brighten (in work make up bag) - mainly cos looks so so old and, its cracked so I think its drying up. Also it makes me look weird, too shiny! :o
