    Had a lovely soak, no use ups though.....

    I'm really enjoying the L'Occitaine body lotion that mum bought me about two years ago, makes my skin feel lovely, can't believe i've not started using this previously (i've always been a bit lazy and could never get into the habit of putting body lotions and moisturisers on!)

    Also, this week I opened a Tony & Guy mousse, however didn't like the way it made my hair feel, although the volume was great, so might not be using it again (possibly put it on ebay!) what else could you recommend to give my hair a bit of volume? Is there anything that doesn't give a 'sticky' feel??

    Oh and one more question, is there a benefit of putting on hand and nail lotion, when you constantly have nail polish on??

    Thanks :T

    Oh dear :eek::eek::eek:

    I have succumbed to the extra 30% off everything in BS online.
    I am pleased with the stuff and 2 are sets which I will keep for a while and maybe :D give them as pressies.

    So it looks like February will have to be a completely NON BUYING MONTH ;)

    tara - I have never bought a dry shampoo, how do they work I have quite long hair and usually need to wash it for the scalp area not the ends area - if you know what I mean :think:

    Please forgive me or not!! :rotfl:

    There's an OS tip about brushing talc through your hair to freshen it up if you don't have time to wash it. Well the dry shampoo's work on the same basis :D except they smell better :rotfl:and doesn't leave you looking like an am-dram grandma :rotfl:

    Your hair type (I would think) is the ideal example. You shake the can and spray (like Hairspray) where required - just on the roots for example - leave for a few moments then brush and style as usual. Basically it just soaks up the greasy bits - but it sounds nicer to say 'refreshes when in a rush' :p

    I love them and am planning on stocking up while the offer is still on. I first used them when I was in hospital and didn't have the energy to bath or shower everyday and like to have them in for my 'low' weeks :o

    :cool:

    Hi all

    I can't keep up!!!! I've been sooo busy. No UUs to report, but am getting near the end of a few things. I have a few INs to report... several (cough) Batiste dry shampoos but they are on an amazing offer so I have stocked up!!!

    I've started going to Curves (really need to lose weight) and am enjoying it! Does anyone else go? xo

    I really shouldn't be asking this :D but what is the good deal on batiste?

    sarah*a explained it beautifully! :) I'm like you, I have long hair and try to wash it only every second day, but I use Batiste sometimes for the 'second' day. It is a godsend! I have blonde hair so can use any of the range but there is one specially for dark hair. :)

    Talc is not the same!!! Urgh! It makes my hair so dull and cakey, I hate it!! :( OS or not, I won't give up my Batiste for talc! I tried Superdrug's own brand dry shampoo yesterday (also on offer atm - 2 for £2.49 - must be Soap Dodgers Month at Superdrug :D ) and it was totally crap, so it's going back.
    I really shouldn't be asking this :D but what is the good deal on batiste?

    £2.13 each or THREE for £3.49!!! Absolute bargain. I have never seen it as cheap as that. I am stocking well up!

    I've started to use Batiste and find it makes my scalp itchy :( - might try Ojon or one or the others mentioned in an article in the Daily Mail once I've used it up!

    Don't go to Curves but have joined Gymphobics which I think is similar - got my induction next week, so shall let you know how I get on.

    Ojon = £16.50 a pop *faints* :eek:

    Oooh, never heard of Gymphobics! Keep me posted. :) I'm going to see if I can go to a class tomorrow as well (it's open till 2pm I think), then will take Sunday off - maybe go for a walk or bike ride just to stretch my legs.

    I just want to make the most of the next 5 weeks to get a really good pre-holiday kickstart. I'm going to try on my holiday clothes tomorrow to give myself a harsh reality check, and I have dug out a slim pic of me from about 4 years ago to spur me on. After so many false dawns re: weight loss I feel like it is all systems go this time ladies!!!! Wish me luck. :)

    p.s. how much really is achievable in 5 weeks?

    Looks like I started something with the foam party.... Reading the small print dotted around the Foam Party website, Clairol want everyone to give it a go in early March and report back en masse.

    Thanks for the link to the foam party thing. I have applied and also got that "we'll be in touch" reply. I have been honest with my answers but I do experiment with my hair a lot... too much my hair would say... lol

    What's Elasticizer? Is it a hair conditioner? How much does it cost?

    :rotfl:LOL at the image of your daughter in shock at the size of your stash. She must be one of those organised people I've heard about!

    The strange thing is that when she was about 12/13 she had a stash of carrier bags:eek::eek::eek: Not even nice ones, just normal everyday ones, and I wasn't allowed to throw them out!! She is pretty organised, but so am I, even though I have a fairly :o large stash, I know what I've got and (roughly) where it is. DD does buy far too much food IMO, her larder is full to bursting, I could live out of her cupboards for a month I'd say!!
