    Hi all

Eek, so many new posts! I haven't got time to read through, so if someone's asked me a question let me know.

Just wanted to say that I am being STRONG and NOT BUYING anything from the Body Shop or Boots! Even with the P&P glitch, the 30% code, the 50% sale... I am ignoring it all :):):)

I am allergic to all sorts of things and for years have just used Boots Aqueous cream to wash , to moisturise and also under make up. My skin feels lovely. I must have saved a fortune in soaps and bath oils etc. because it is so reasonable. My doctor said it is better for your skin than even the most expensive stuff.

Oooh... now I am curious! How much does it cost usually?

  • Just back from hols, so three uu to report.

Bliss lemon and sage shampoo - WIBA? Yes, it made my hair really squeaky clean!
Bliss lemon and sage conditioner - WIBA? Yes, it's great and you don't need to use much.
Trilogy facial scrub - WIBA? Yes, but its expensive so probably just as a treat if I was feeling flush :p

A Not-Bought In: Discovered in some post from the other day that son had put to one side, a free sample sachet of Head and Shoulders. These things usually last me two washes.

One thing I've found Lush solid shampoos very useful for: Although we have soft water the lather they generate is minimal if you just pass the bar over wet hair. This means two small hand basins of warm water is enough to wet and rinse my hair thoroughly.

I MUST keep reminding myself that a sale is a pile of items being sold cheaply because no-one else wants them.

The splutterer is a Sainsbury's Basics deodorant. WIBA - yes, it works, it's unscented and it was only 33p. Bought in a money saving moment which has paid off.

I tried this one too last year (prior to joining this challenge) and I found it to be really good. I went back to buy some more but couldn't get it in a few stores so thought it had been discontinued. The only negative I would say about it is the packaging - it looks straight out of the 70's in a big, clunky, orange and white can!! But for 32p I shouldn't really complain.

When my current stash has went down a bit I was going to splash out on that Michium roll on as so many of you have recommended it. Think I might toss in a few cans of the basic as well.

Happy birthday littlepinkstars.I'm trying to keep up with the thread, everyone's so chatty. I have managed to stay away from the body shop sale and boots glitches. I need to stop looking at the grabbit forum.

Oh another unexpected UU this time - a pot of 50ml vanilla body lotion i got sent to test WIBA yes, it same as a set of 2, one for normal skin and one for dryer areas and they were a pleasure to use! Shame I'm not sure what make they were - did feel like a body shop body butter but have a feeling it could be a boots/superdrug inhouse one x
I think this is the same stuff I had to trial - I'm certain it was a body shop one (the packaging was definitely BS).
