I am allergic to all sorts of things and for years have just used Boots Aqueous cream to wash , to moisturise and also under make up. My skin feels lovely. I must have saved a fortune in soaps and bath oils etc. because it is so reasonable. My doctor said it is better for your skin than even the most expensive stuff.

UU last night - Sanctuary Body scrub - WIBA? Yes it's my HG body scrub but i have at least two more in stock before i need to go out and buy any (i think)

Marjory, i have to use Aqueous cream to wash my hands with as well. I've started buying mine from either Savers or the Pound shop as it's so much cheaper than Boots, even Asda's tub is cheaper than Boots, but is more expensive than the others. May help you save a little, we are MSE'ers after all :)

I have one splutterer and a UU

The splutterer is a Sainsbury's Basics deodorant. WIBA - yes, it works, it's unscented and it was only 33p. Bought in a money saving moment which has paid off.

UU is a solid coconut oil pre wash conditioner for hair. It was a gift so no idea how much it cost. WIBA - yes it smelled lovely and left my hair feeling really soft. However I have to use up the rest of my Ojon solid oil first, I'm not keen on the smell of that but it was pricey and I can't justify binning it.

Another UU! :j Body Shop's Raspberry Body Scrub. WIBA? Yes, but certainly not at £12.50 (RRP) - it would have to be on offer, and I already have a few more of these and the Passion Fruit ones hanging around as well.

P.S. Also have two sputters on the go as well! :j :j

Oh ladies, I am tempted, with the 30% code for B*** S*** that works on sale items, I just put a load in my basket and clicked off the page - I MUST BE STRONG!! :A

I laughed hard at this because I did EXACTLY the same! It was going to be a gift for my friend, but who am I kidding, I've already got her loads of stuff in the sales (enough for Christmas and birthday)and I had to add a few bits to get the order to over £15 anyway to get free delivery!:p

It was sooo hard to close that page but I felt really proud of myself after and so should you! Well done! :T

PS - What were you going to order......LOL!! I was loving the gift sets.....
Less stuff, more life, love, laughter and cats!
Even if I'm on the shopping threads, it doesn't mean I'm buying! Sometimes it's good to just look and then hit the CLOSE button!

    :rotfl::rotfl:Me too :rotfl::rotfl:

I filled my basket and then closed the page saying a firm 'NO' like I do to the dogs :rotfl:

Still tempted though as I really want some more spiced vanilla body butter - mine's nearly all gone :(

Hmmmm .... if there's any still left in stock on payday (next monday) I may reconsider - but I'm going to steer clear until then! :D

    :bdaycake:Happy birthday littlepinkstars44 :bdaycake:
  • Well I wanted brazil nut butter, my fave and it is usually not available any more! but i'm sure the spice vanilla would have slipped in 'to test the scent', a few holdalls 'for presents' and some gift cubes as they were 'too much of a bargain'. :rotfl:

stay strong girls i'm sure there will be bigger and better offers very soon!!x

Sarah*a - now, my memory is a bit shaky but wasn't it you that first posted here about the BS BOGOF sale in store, LOL!!

I am fessing up to my 2 'ins' last night :D - 2 of the BS holdalls on BOGOF - although, I did return 2 items for total of £12 :A and with my 10% off and £5 for having 4 stamps (yes, I know that means I have shopped there too much to have had those stamps :rotfl:), I ended up paying only £2.20. One is a gift, and one is er....as yet unallocated.....

  • hello all

what a fantastic idea!! i have so many smellies it is unreal.

SOOOO having taken inspiration from this thread i have now separated said smellies into two piles - new and unopened, and opened/old/dusty.
The first pile is in the car boot sale box for the end of this month. The second pile (always the bigger of the two) is my use up pile and i will not be buying ANY MORE TOILETRIES until that pile is GONE!!!

the only problem i see is running out of toothpaste but i am set for hand wash/shower gel/shampoo/bath soap/moisturisier for at least the next 6 months!! so that is my challenge. and every time i UU one of my stash i will be putting the RRP into my 'wedding fund'. wish me luck!!

While i am here, i received two perfume sets for xmas - hilary duff and beyonce (i am starting to get the hint now). they both come with shampoo, etc. has anyone used these before and if so were they any good? if not they will be going on ebay....

    thank you all. :)
