were the two items from inside the holdall??

No I returned 4 bars of soap (was 4 for 3) which i have counted as one item, and a heated foot wrap which was a gift I will never get round to using...;)

I have still got my BS page open on my PC with my basket full of things just to make me feel like I'm getting the gratification of shopping, but my purse is locked away!

P.S. the vanilla stuff is really nice, I got some shower gel for my sister's birthday 'hamper'...
Less stuff, more life, love, laughter and cats!
Even if I'm on the shopping threads, it doesn't mean I'm buying! Sometimes it's good to just look and then hit the CLOSE button!

No, but I'd be keen to find out as that is exactly what I've started doing today. Although, I don't really need to get obsessed with another thread!

Hi there is the store cupboard challenge on the old style board which might be what you're after - if not they'll be able to help over there I'm sure.

    happy birthday littlepinkstars.

I have my first in of the month to report have done really well at getting back into using up and working out what I need and in the process wished I'd bought some of the S&G gift sets for the boxes as trying to organise storage etc - was very good and didn't buy online as I had lots of points and then none left in stores apart from a hand and foot set I picked up in a little boots just before New Year.

I was also hoping family would remember I love S&G and buy me something - my SIL remembered and got me a tube of hand cream and my OH got me the tote bag (well I bought it for him to give to me!) but mum got me joules hand set which whilst I love some of their clothes is totally not my colours and I have loads of hand cream S&G already!

Anyway yesterday I bought a mini box set from ASOS - free next day delivery so I have it now. All 4 products inside I use, 3 regularly and the bubble bath when I get it and the box is just what I wanted. Then have a few bits coming from ebay too so about £20 spent in total but mostly on storage/accessories so I don't feel too bad and better storage means more likely to use up.

Happy birthday littlepinkstars. Belated happy birthday Hazz.
No UU's today but I have been very good and blitzed the house. DD's bedding is almost dry so I'm hoping to manage to do ours. DS's was washed and dried first. Yay me! All the ironing is done (still got to put it away, bleurgh!) and hoovering is done. Hands are about to get creamed as dry and sore again.
I am also trying to UU all the foodstuffs that I have lurking in the cupboards. I waste so much space in my house with storing parp that I don't need to store. I think I have managed to save some money on food shopping this month as I have been avoiding the shops and just using up what is in the cupboars/ fridge/ freezer. I'm going to have to do a lot better than that though if I'm to make up the nearly £8k savings shortfall, espescially as we need to get our hall stairs and landing done this year and will have to get someone in to do this one. Oh well, at least the house will be finished this year and we'll not have to keep spending big money on it (fingers crossed!).
See you all later peeps xx

Sarah*a - now, my memory is a bit shaky but wasn't it you that first posted here about the BS BOGOF sale in store, LOL!!

I am fessing up to my 2 'ins' last night :D - 2 of the BS holdalls on BOGOF - although, I did return 2 items for total of £12 :A and with my 10% off and £5 for having 4 stamps (yes, I know that means I have shopped there too much to have had those stamps :rotfl:), I ended up paying only £2.20. One is a gift, and one is er....as yet unallocated.....

This makes me want to order that Strawberry BS Holdall I put in my basket yesterday... :( HELP!

I try and have a "frugal february" and use up stuff from freezer and cupboards before resorting to buying more food....makes for interesting meals:rotfl:so far this week its ministrone soup (losely based on a GR recipe)chicken curry(using frozen chick and jar of sauce plus frozen naan)tonight is frozen chick kiev and veg and tomorrow we are splashing out on a 2 for 1 meal at our local pub...3 courses for £15 for both of us so cheap night out(only trouble is from the menu it looks like I will be having chicken pate followed by roast chicken:rotfl:good job I like chicken(will try to use mince next week)
bought a Waitrose entertains chilli at Christmas and froze it in portions, had it on sat WOW man was it spicy:eek::eek::eek:WNBA

back on toiletries I put some perfume on before a walk to an NT garden and one of the worker commented on it ....funny thing tho I could not smell it on myself so shows its good to use to make others feel good

Ok, a case of needs must, and not even remotely related to the challenge but....

I just used piles cream on my face. I had no moisturiser and it was either that or tea tree conditioner.

Furthermore, the cream was found after a bathroom cupboard hunt.

I hope this ends well. HAHAHAHAHAH!
