Just back from dinner with the family, i am so stuffed i can hardly move!
But i do have some IN's to confess to, firstly i took full advantage of the 30% code and free delivery on TBS, ordered 2 of the deo dry deodorants, i really love these and will be using them....so in my head it's an acceptable purchase!
Then birthday pressies, my mum got me an Umberto Giannini set with a dry shampoo and blow dry spray in it, and a Twilight Bella set from Boots consisting of shower gel, body lotion and body mist. (both clearly bought in the 75% sale - I have taught her well!)
And a cute wee bag of love heart shaped bath confetti
I also got a new Thomas Sabo charm, new tongs (used them tonight - brilliant!), Xbox game i've been wanting for a while, sweeties, chocolates and money
Also got presents to get from my friends when i see them on Saturday...and going out with my dad and sister on Friday night for dinner.
Definitely back to the gym on Monday for me!
A very happy birthday littlepinkstars44. It sounds like a lovely day and a great pressie haul!! Two re-discovereds late yesterday evening. My son took my old bed out - kingsize divan - and I was expecting all sorts of things to be under there. In the event there were only two things, but both full, nearly. A Garnier Minerals anti-perspirant (mystery solved!) and a mini aerosol of hand gel.Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... I would have burned the pink candle, sculptured like a rose, that melted in storage." Don't keep things 'for best' - that day never comes. Use them and enjoy them now.0

Hi ladies,
Back from hols and not a chance of catching up on 6 days worth of posts, so will just be jumping back in here!
Wantonly abandoned in Tenerife, the dregs of a BS butter, dregs of an aloe vera body cream, dregs of my decanted sun tan lotion, dregs of a mini deodorant, mini hairspray and mini toothpaste! All in the cause of keeping handluggage within the 10kg limit!
Also persuaded DD to leave hotel toiletries behind too! They were not very inspiring and I do not need any more uninspiring mini toiletries staring at me to use them up in my bathroom :rotfl:
Waiting for me when I got home...large tube of BS hemp handcream. Got it for £7 instead of £10, bargain that should see me through the rest of the winter!0 -
Hello folks
No ins. Guess I need to find out what the Body Shop offer is about I need some of their seaweed stuff.
Using up some lovely Clarins products (body serum concentrate or something) and their hand cream. Both lovely. Both look lovely on my table. Making it easier to dig into the stash when I'm using lovely stuff.
Must get back into the moisturising and pampering what with spring on its way - we'll all be looking fabulous and have a few quid left (hopefully!) in our pockets too!!Declutter 300 things in December challenge, 9/300. Clear the living room. Re-organize storage

UU: The dregs of a Boots Tea Tree & Witch Hazel cleanser & toner. WIBA? Probably not as it seemed to dry out my face but at least it didn't make my skin worse as a lot of stuff seems to at the moment!ISA savings: £25,139 Other Savings: £1750 (tied up in bond)0

Only found MSE in the last few days - so hope I'm not too late to join in this challenge.
I have loads of stuff to use - that I have been saving for a special occasion (?! why do we do this) and need to tighten my belt due to emergency home repairs removing a big chunk of my savings in January.
I hope the only things I will have to buy for the next 12 months are alcohol free toner which I use by the bucketload and shampoo as I am still searching for something that will deal with my dandruff (yuck). Luckily OH will use up any of my cast offs.
Any reccommendations for Shampoo will be greatfully received - at the moment I am trying the Lush "Snake Oil" bar with a moderate degree of success - but it does require some planning ahead to use.
2 UU to report - one Philosophy "When Hope is Not Enough" night cream and one Boots moisturising day cream (travel sized).0 -
Good morning and welcome to the thread 2manybooks:wave:
The Vaseline Moisture Locking Body Lotion from USA is finally dead :j:j:j
It passed away last night after a long and drawn out death with me by its side :rotfl: It was actually rather good stuff, function wise, very moisturising, but oh my it was boring!!! It smelled like something you get on prescription, though it was supposed to be fragrance free. It certainly wasn't perfumed but it smelled rather like my son's Dermovate for his excema. Onto some entirely more delicious lotions and butters :T
I'm expecting my Gok box to arrive at Boots today0
