I tried this one too last year (prior to joining this challenge) and I found it to be really good. I went back to buy some more but couldn't get in a few stores so thought it had been discontinued. The only negative I would say about it is the packaging - it looks straight out of the 70's in a big, clunky, orange and white can!! But for 32p I shouldn't really complain.

When my current stash has went down a bit I was going to splash out on that Michium roll out as so many of you have recommended it. Think I might toss in a few cans of the basic as well.

Mine was the roll on, I didn't notice a Basics aerosol so perhaps that's been discontinued.

Two more 'ins' to report in advance - Just ordered 2 Hemp Hand Protectors from BS with the free delivery, 30% off and 30% discount code meaning that I could get two of the 100ml tubes for £9.80. I get through this quite quickly as my hands always suffer in the cold and I wash my hands a lot during the day at work to make it worse so I thought I'd stock up at that price rather than pay full price (a tenner!) when my current tube runs out.

Almost got to the end of a body spray, a perfume that I didn't really like and a cleanser & toner bottle so hopefully those will be used up in the next day or two for some UUs to balance things out a bit.
ISA savings: £25,139 Other Savings: £1750 (tied up in bond)

I MUST keep reminding myself that a sale is a pile of items being sold cheaply because no-one else wants them.

but I do .... I do want the spiced vanilla everything before it vanishes :(:(

Sarah*a - now, my memory is a bit shaky but wasn't it you that first posted here about the BS BOGOF sale in store, LOL!!

    Yes, Sorry :o:o <hangs head in shame>

I've still been so good today though :p Even went into BS and stood in front of the display. I did talk the SA into giving me one of their little tester pots with some vanilla body scrub in - so I guess that counts as an IN and an UU as I'm off for my bath in a moment and will use it up.

I checked with the SA how long the BOGOF will be on for and she said until everything is gone :p so if it's still going Monday I may give in - I have to pass the shop anyway so I might as well check :rotfl: I also had a sniff of the cranberry body butter today and thats quite yummy too ;)

I do want to order online to get a couple of tubes of the hemp handcream for my mum for mothers day (esp at 30% off + 30% off) as she swears by it but can very rarely afford it) so I'll just shut my eyes if anything else falls in my basket :rotfl: Will have to do some major maths to work out which is cheaper - 30% off and Free Delivery or BOGOF :p

TBH I think I'm only being so good because we literally have no cash left until payday due to a couple of unexpected bills  Have had to use my saved M&S vouchers for food and loo roll :( So we too are doing the 'eat up whats in the freezer challenge' :p Thank the lord for my slow cooker :rotfl:

First of all a massive thank you to everyone for the birthday wishes! I've had a brilliant day, and been spoiled rotten!!
Just back from dinner with the family, i am so stuffed i can hardly move!

But i do have some IN's to confess to, firstly i took full advantage of the 30% code and free delivery on TBS, ordered 2 of the deo dry deodorants, i really love these and will be using them....so in my head it's an acceptable purchase!
Then birthday pressies, my mum got me an Umberto Giannini set with a dry shampoo and blow dry spray in it, and a Twilight Bella set from Boots consisting of shower gel, body lotion and body mist. (both clearly bought in the 75% sale - I have taught her well!)
And a cute wee bag of love heart shaped bath confetti

I also got a new Thomas Sabo charm, new tongs (used them tonight - brilliant!), Xbox game i've been wanting for a while, sweeties, chocolates and money :)
Also got presents to get from my friends when i see them on Saturday...and going out with my dad and sister on Friday night for dinner.
Definitely back to the gym on Monday for me!

One small UU - free sample sachet of Nivea Visage natural beauty radiance boosting moisuriser. WIB? No. It smells really lovely and was very moisurising but it left your face looking like it had got in the way of a metallic car spray paint! :rotfl::rotfl:Very odd...

no UU for me today, though hopefully I will be finishing that moisturiser tonight...

  • I used the Lush bar Shampoos when I lost my hair after chemo in 2009, I still wanted to "shampoo" my shiny head, and even when my hair started to comeback and looked a bit like a baby duckling these bars were brilliant. I've not used one on longer hair though - my hair was about 2 or 3 inches below shoulder length before the chemo and it's now just about covering my ears!

I've got two more UU to report which are Mark Hill Shampoo & Conditioner for Brunettes (both 75ml) - WIBA? don't think I found the shampoo quite drying and the conditioner wasn't that good. Still got loads of Shampoo & Conditioner in my stash so no need to buy anything for a while - I've used up 12 items this month already (to be fair they were all small 50-75ml bits and pieces!)

That might explain it fru-gal, because when I bought the aerosol one there wasn't a roll on version on the basics range (well not in the displays I was looking at).....Methinks it has gone for good...
