But i have been shopping pretty much all day! I bought a dress in town, brought it home...lovely on but doesn't fit my boobs in it!! What is it with H&M, do they have some kind of prejudice against people with [STRIKE]slightly[/STRIKE] larger than average boobs??!!! So i'm just back from the shopping centre, took it back, found nothing there!! Resisted Boots, Superdrug, TBS and Tesco!
But i still don't have a dress to wear for Saturday for my birthday night out!
Totally off topic i know!
Well done on resisting the 4 shops!
Now regarding your size, you know women pay good money for your curves! As one of those people who look the same on the beach whichever way I lie, front or back, I would gladly swap my scrawny butt for your curves!! My legs are seemingly short too, because I always have to take up trousers.
I don't recommend it, but I've been on the 'grief/heartache' diet these past 6 months and am now trying to fatten up! I don't think I can do much about my legs though....and btw, us skinny people do get cellulite and my thighs are riddled with broken veins. Hope I have cheered you up!
Finally UU the awful Rose Champneys hand cream - ugh, I should have thrown/given it away. Really not the smell for me. I've got a mini of the same body lotion and I'm NOT touching that - will go in the charity shop/swapsy with friends pile. Not the sort of pile you gals have been talking about.....:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Oh and happy birthday - do report back what you got!!Less stuff, more life, love, laughter and cats!
Even if I'm on the shopping threads, it doesn't mean I'm buying! Sometimes it's good to just look and then hit the CLOSE button!0 -
Errm, I think you mean trudii
?
I did, apologies my head is all over the shop at the moment!roshydoshy, I think that a good High SPF is more important than antiaging creams when you are mid 20.The more you avoid now sun spots, sun burns and pigmentation problems, the less you will need antiaging creams!
thanks I think I will, I have been using creams with an SPF in it for the last year or so, but I'm a nightmare for not wearing, or wearing minimal SPF (naughty I know, but I'm trying to change!). I hope I get the skin from my mothers side, although I doubt it as I have stretch marks on my hips and she has never had one! They are all youthful skinned, and she doesn't wear make up, cleanse or moisturise, and often gets told she looks a good 10-15yrs younger than she is, whereas my dad's sisters have older skin but they are all smokers which I think has aged them?
Has anyone recommendations for creams? I was using Benefit Do It Daily, which was hit and miss, and Olay but that was gifted and not sure it was worth the price tag.
Happy birthday littlepinkstars44
Have a good day girls, sorry if I've missed any thanks or comments - it's not deliberate, I just loose track whilst catching up :rotfl: xx0 -
Oh and I've also heard that pile cream is a totally amazing face cream, recommended by beauticians when they aren't trying to sell their salon brands!!0

I've just had a bath and was sure I'd UU the big bottle of Vaseline lotion finally as it was spluttering (actually, it was farting at me y'day:rotfl:) so I stood it on its lid and tonight its tummy has settled and it seems to have doubled in volume:mad: I've slathered it on everywhere and there still seems to be plenty left:(
Have any of you had trouble with BS Cucumber Cleanser? I've been using it for a week or so, on the nights when I don't Oil Cleanse (so probably 2 out of 3) and I've had 3 really painful big spots erupt. They don't have a head on them like normal "zits" but they're purple and so sore:( and sooo unattractive. I'm going to give the BS stuff a miss for a while then try again but at the first sign of trouble its in the bin, or donated to a mate with less dodgy skin! I'm usually OK with BS, I swear by their Carrot Cream
could be an allergy to cucumber!sounds daft,I love to eat it but when i used aboots cucumber cream years ago it had the same effect on me and I had to throw it:eek:0 -
well I slept better last night(until DS2 let the cat out of his room and she came and sat on my chest and purred:mad:) knowing H was safe:rotfl:totally unbelievable storyline...how many pathologists would get involved with their "clients" the way the SW crew do?
no gardening today as throwing it down, work this pm so showered using the Lush turkish delight polisher first(don't rate it and doesn't even smell but at least am using it up)
loads of ends of creams on dressing table with their bottoms cut off to get the dregs:rotfl:0 -

:rotfl: Well is it's any help I hear that beauty pageant queens in the US use pile cream to shrink spots, so you will have a pimple-free complexion for the foreseable future if nothing else! :rotfl:
In all seriousness, I hope it's not that stuff, though!
*stocks piles cream* :rotfl:
Idk here but in Spain I had a cream for bruises and preventing lumps from bruising that I later found out in the tiny print that was prescribed too for celulite, since it softed and reactivated the liquids under the skin! I started using that as soon as I found out but then I moved here and I could not find it again! I will have to investigate.roshydoshy wrote: »thanks I think I will, I have been using creams with an SPF in it for the last year or so, but I'm a nightmare for not wearing, or wearing minimal SPF (naughty I know, but I'm trying to change!). When I was in my 20s I used Nivea for kids block sun everyday, it left a white film on my face that I didn't mind since I was trying to go for a paler than a vampire look in those days lol. Occasionally I used L'Oreal but it was not good imo. I rather go for Nivea. Well, I once went with my mum to the dermatologist since I had a couple of moles I was worried about. They were nothing but in the conversation my mum told the dr I was obsessed with avoiding the sun and always used sunblock. She said this looking for sympathy from the dr. My mum always loved the sun and sunbathed years and years for hours every time. She has now loads of little veins on her cheeks, darker skin, loads of sun posts and a leather-like effect on some places, not to forget the neck. My dr looked at me and said "well, considering your genetics, if you do not use any high SPF you will have your mum's skin and colour"... and my mum smiles and says "see? see? you should get more colour!":rotfl:She obviously did not get it was not a compliment!
Anyway, I am glad I went a bit onto the obsessive side. People usually think I am around 7-8 years younger than I am, which makes me feel goodI think, however, that my skin has aged in the last couple of years. I believe is all due to stress and not resting as much as I used to, but maybe having ditched the sunblock could be a reason too. I need to find one that does not leave that shiny white film.
